Machenike L16 air R5-7640HS question

Hi everyone, thank you in advance.

I’m buying a laptop for my mum. She’s doing family admin work+watching movies/drama, on her i think 12 years old laptop. The laptop is already in bad condition. The hinge are already broken and screen have mutiple lines on it, and keyboard no longer working so need to rely on external keyboard.

So im thinking buying a new laptop as a gift. Hopefully shopee will have some decent sale at 1.1. later on.

While researching, i stumbled to this laptop “ Machenike L16 air R5-7640HS” at around rm 2300 or so. Spec wise seems to be adequate if my mum were to use for the next couple of years. But my only concern is whether the hardware itself have the longevity to last the next 5 years or so because the brand itself is abit uknown.

Any of you can share your experience using product from this brand?

My budget is below Rm 3000. My next choice is macbook air m2 at around rm3000. Macbook seems to be a safer choice but it is rm 800 more expensive with “lesser” spec than the L16

Fast food similarity alternative

I just got an air fryer and was trying to alternate cooking between traditional type of food and the fast frozen food type depending the time that i have for the day.

I read this article but anybody know what are the current alternative that taste almost the same for mcd?:

Need some input on which one is better between nothing 2a and pixel 7a

Context:
I want to buy new phone for my parents.
My mom using xiaomi mi9t+pixel 3a(camera only)
My dad use xiaomi 10t pro.
Both already retired and like to take picture coz they like to go holiday overseas in those cheaper countries.

For my mom i think most certainly im getting her the pixel 7a coz she love the old pixel 3a so much.

For my dad however im torn between the pixel 7a vs the nothing 2a. I think he would appreciate the screen size of the nothing 2a because he’s old. But i afraid the nothing 2a is either a downgrade or sidegrade over his current mi10t pro camera wise

Hi,

I’ve a question, is there any long term negative impact by using the car door bowl cover as the one that i shared in the link?

I want to protect the door handle area from nails and ring.
The reason why im asking is because certain negative impact can only be known by people that have use it for example the rubber seal that people ussually put at the door to “reduce” noise can actually cause rust because it trapped water.

Just wondering if the bowl cover may have some uknown negative impact that i should know of?

Portable water jet application question

I live in an apartment in which getting water+electric supply to wash car can be difficult. I have found a solution via the usage of portable water jet. I have a question on its application. The online seller i think is non local or a bot because he dint answer my question and it seems quite robotic.

Currently using 2012 proton preve turbo. The car keep giving me headache even if i sent service regularly. Around 1-2 years ago got gearbox problem which cost a lot of money to repair. Recently got tranmision issue again. So if the repair cost going to be close to rm10k im thinking to get a different car as the maintenance cost had been crazy.

I’m not a car guy so just wondering if there is any reliable and decent car model that i can get at around rm19k to rm25k?

If a new car, what would the cheapest but reliable automatic transmission car model?

Hi all,

Im just curious. In a country like venezuela or lebanon which experience economic collapses. Something like capital control and bank run may have occurred. Understandably there’s limitation in physical cash withdrawals for customer as the number of physical cash in existence does not really reconcile with the cash shown in account due to fractional reserve banking system. But my question is, can the people use a variation of ewallet/internet banking so that they dont need to withdraw their physical cash?

Im using proton preve and looking to buy one of those battery jumper powerbank. Not sure whether there’s compability issue for example bigger car with bigger battery will need certain powerbank jumper for it to work.

I used the forgot password function. After key in phone number, the submit button does nothing.

Tried delete app and reinstall multiple times still same issue.

Tried registering new user, it will say cannot load pages.

Hi, i'm having mosquito problem so was looking for several solution.

Which one of the three would be the most effective and cost efficient:

I guess this would be the most expensive route as the mat and and battery need to be change every 3 month. It is known to work well as a repellents so not a bogus solution.

However im not sure of the effectiveness as i read mosquito are not really attracted to uv light. But instead mammal gasses. Need some advice on loan tenure

Im planning to buy a rm 280k 3 bedroom 2 bathroom condo early of 2021.
I need some advice in term of which route to take in term of payment.
Let say im having around rm100k of cash/liquid asset.
1 low cost apartment with market value of around rm150k. Rental would be around rm 700 per month.
Below are some of the payment route that im thinking off:

1) pay 10% down + 30 year loan. Instalment are covered by renting out the apartment+ one of the room for the condominium.

2) pay 10% down + 10 year loan. Instalment are covered by renting out the apartment+ one of the room for the condominium+ topping up some of my money.

3) pay 10% down + 30 year loan. Sell the apartment + using my cash equivelant paying off more than what the installment actually needs.

4) is it worth to take a markup loan?

Im more incline towards finish off debt as soon as possible and use the net income to invest in etf such as stashaway personally.
Need some external opinion input in term of pros and cons so that i wont screw up this major purchase.

Xiaomi 1c or g1 robot vacum

Hi all,

Need your opinion/insight between this 2 model robot vacum.
Xiaomi g1 or 1c.

I'm living in a low cost apartment with 2 bedroom(1 master+ 1 smaller), 1 bathroom, and a small kitchen.
Looking for a robot vacum to reduce my chore work(vacum+mop).
Based on my research, people said that robot vacum usually only last for around 2 years due to battery degradation and lack of replacement availability.

Due to useful life, im not willing to spend big hence my budget is below rm 1000. The g1 is around rm 580 while 1c is around rm 680.
Do you feel that the g1 would be good enough for my usage? Or there's enough upgrade to warrant the rm 100 different for the 1c?
So far from what i can gather, the only significant different from these 2 model is there is no recharge and resume for the g1(is it true?)

Both of these model dont have lidar sensor, would these really contribute to much different? Usually robot vacum with lidar sensor cost alot more.

So I just discovered the existence of gameshare. Currently im planning to share my game library with one my close friend. And in the future a third person which is my younger sibling once the ps5 are available as i want to pass my ps4 to them.

So reading the article in the link above, i have a few question:
1) why i need to designate my friend console as the primary account? Can't i make my own console as primary for the gameshare to work? It's just that i feel more comfortable knowing the primary account are in my own console.

2) In the event that my account are install in 3 console, which is mine, my friend, and my sibling, what would be considered as a banned/blocked from accessing the account? Is it 3 person accessing the same account at the same time? Or is it 3 person playing the same game in the same account at the same time?

3) Any security measured that i can take to avoid people acessing psstore or buying stuff under my account or changing important stuff like account detail?

Hi, just a few question. Anybody ever used case such as the one shown in the link below? Just wondering, would i be able to use the joycon grip with the case? Not sure whether the added bulk will prevent docking with the grip.

My second question, im looking for a second controller in which i can play smash with my younger brother and sister whenever i go back hometown. The market price of the NS pro controller at around rm280 feels a little bit too expensive to me considering ps4 and xbox equivelant are30-45%cheaper. So i found a cheaper alternative while browsing which was the 8bitdo sn30 pro. Anybody can share your experience in term of ergonomics when playing games that utilised more on the joystick? Is it comfortable. All my past controller have grip hence that's why im asking.

Final question, any of the chinnese oem like the pikachu controller are good for gaming purposes? Do they get supported regularly as update may render them unusable if not supported.

Hi, I would to get an input regarding career break. Im currently a senior executive at a mnc. Had been pushing hard for my work in the past 5 years or so and now feeling the burnout. Hi everyone, can anyone recommend any youtuber, website or books for someone who is interested to learn to draw manga or anime art from zero?

I've an ipad and downloaded the procreate apps but was overwhelm with the option given as i've zero knowledge in art or drawing. Hence kinda lost on where to get started in order to further deepen my knowledge little by little.

Im trying this as a side hobby and potential future side income as i have fixed job currently.
