Your identity will remain anonymous (Promise!).

If you're wondering why I chose this forum to post my questions here, well, that's because I'm developing an Online Fitness Supplement Store for my FYP.

Some interview questions are provided with answering guides to help you nice/kind/sweet/awesome fellas provide better feedbacks and prevent any confusion (as well as meet my expectations !)

1.) Briefly state your age, gender and profession.

(Simple, straight-forward answer)

2.) Briefly describe your experiences and quests in fitness/weightlifting.

(Experiences: How long have you been in a sport/working out? Joined a fitness modeling competition before? Joined a weight lifting competition before? Participate in the Olympics before?

Quests: What are your fitness goals? To stay fit and healthy? To become stronger and faster? To impress your the girl of your dreams? To score chicks in the club?)

3.) How often do you browse through e-supplement stores to look for your favourite products? Which e-supplement stores in particular do you like to visit? Why?

(EGOnutritions? GNC? or Bodybuilding.com? or some other stores that are not commonly heard of? Or from blogshops, perhaps?)

4.) Would you prefer to buy your favourite products online and have it delivered to your doorstep or pay a visit to the actual supplement store to get them yourself? Why?

(Do you face any troubles/convenience when purchasing your favorite products online or through actual stores? Explain.)

5.) Do the e-supplement stores you frequent to have e-membership systems that goes along with cumulative membership points? What are the benefits of being a member? What can you do with the membership points?

6.) Do the e-supplement stores you frequent to provide e-newsletters? Are you subscribed to the service?

7.) How often do you receive these newsletters? What information do the e-newsletters usually contain? Are they informative/helpful to you in any way?

(Do they contain promotional news of a product? Fitness tips? Fitness news regarding the industry?)

8.) Do you think a product servings calculator for an e-supplement’s store would prove useful to you?

(A product may have 10 servings, 4 scoops in a serving and 40 scoops in a tub. Different consumers have different ways of using a product - some conserve by taking servings in halves, some take 3/4 scoops a serving etc. If the calculator takes in 'number of scoops' from the user as a measurement, it will show the number of days which the product can last. If the product takes in 'number of days' (say the user wants the product to last for 30 days), daily intake of scoops will be displayed as a result.)

-

Kindly delete the answering guides before you reply. You can either c&p the interview questions and reply here on this thread, PM me your feedback, or send it to my email: vendesbloodspill@gmail.com

A million thanks

ps. just let me know when you've completed the questions and where did you send the feedback to.

Trouble inserting records into DB in ASP.net

Hail, to all Codemasters of LYN.

I have a new customer registration form done in ASP, with fields like Email, Password, Confirm Password, First Name, Last Name, Gender, Location and Address for the a new customer to enter. These fields will be inserted in the Customer table made using Microsoft Access (now in the App_Data folder of my project in the Visual Studio directory) when the customer hits the Submit button.

Before I proceed, the Customer table (empty) consists of the same fields mentioned in the registration form as the columns within. There are extra 2 columns, which will be auto assigned to a record whenever a complete registration is being made - CustID (customer ID, primary key) and Assigned Address (a fake and unique address which will be given to users upon registration).

The problem: vb.net coding for the Submit button - I don't know how to insert the records from there.

I went through references like http://www.aspfree.com/c/a/Microsoft-Acces...-with-ASPNET/2/ and http://www.startvbdotnet.com/ado/msaccess.aspx but I'm still having trouble understanding the codes.

Would appreciate all the help I can get, kind sirs/lasses.
