Full wall mirror with hidden door

Hi forumers sekalian,

Could I seek some of your experience/advice for the minor Reno work at my condo?

Referring to the pic below, I would like to remove the store room folding door, and replace it with a hidden door mounted with mirror on top. The rest of the wall would be mounted with mirror as well.

1. However, I was advised by a carpenter that the thickness of the hidden door and mirror would need 4 inches cos of the hinges. Is that the case or is there any other way I could reduce the thickness?

2. Is it easy to move the aircon higher, in terms of the piping work etc?

Appreciate all your advice/thoughts bro.

Thanks!

[attachmentid=7962290]

Sharp LC50UE630X vs xiaomi MiTV 3 55 inches

Hi guys, not sure if this has been brought up/discussed before, and I know no tv could be compared like to like, but would like to seek your thought of these 2 TVs - sharp LC50UE630X and MiTV3 55 inches.

I have been following another thread anout UE630X and been thinking of getting the UE630X for my new house. Think cheapest online price would be 3.7k. Been to physical shop to have a look and the picture quality seems great.

But lately I have been thinking if I could get the mitv3 55 inches for similar price (of cos the risk of not being able to get the local supplier to warranty).

Am just wondering, would anyone knows if the mitv3 picture quality is good / great enough and comparable or better than the UE630x (pardon my layman term 'better' lol). Or is the mitv actually an entry level tv and worse off picture quality compared to the mid level android tv of sharp?

Would appreciate your kind thoughts and comments!

Thanks yo.
