Hi,

I have animes which i want to burn into blank dvds (single layer) in order to avoid scratches on the originals.

It would be much appreciated if anyone can guide me d ways on burning the animes (~7gb-8gb) to 2 dvds, both watchable on a dvd player.

Multiple monitor setup, how to

Currently i have 2 monitors connected to my gpu, however, i was thinkin of setting up 1 or maybe 2 more monitors. Wht options do i have to come about it.

FYI, my mobo has a nvidia 550 chipset, so it only supports single pci xpress x8/x16.

Wht options are available?

My current setup is with a 24' and 19' lcd. I am planning to get another 19' or maybe a LCD TV.

I actually have done some research; there's actually d matrox, pci graphics, chg mobo & buy another gpu.

So which is d cheapest & widely available option (easily obtainable from pc store or lowyat)?

pc cannot boot

when i switch on my pc, d pc dont seem 2 boot

as i am using d biostar tforce 550 mobo, it has 2 led indicators when booting up, normally 1 led will lite up 1st then followed by a second 1

but, currently, only 1 led lights up but not d other, creating a constant beep noise as well

when i check d mobo's manual, it indicates a either a vga error or memory error, what does it mean?

ram or gc spoilt perhaps?

pc cannot b started using switch

as mention above, my pc cannot be started using d on off switch, i have tried replacing with d reset switch but to no avail

however, if i tripped d power supply's atx connector connecting to d mobo, i can start d pc, so wht is wrong or spoilt?

meaning if i jump start d power supply's atx connector by connecting d green n black wires at d connector, d pc can then b started.

dont know whether i posted at the correct section, but does anyone knows how to save web pages that has workable links offline.

say for example, this tutorial web pages has a page 1, 2 ,3 and etc

but i dont wnat to click every link page n save it one by one

i just wnat to save only 1 one web page, for example the index page that has workable links of page 1 , 2 ,3 and etc

Ram - 667 ddr2

will there b any problem if i use a combination of 512mb x 2 + 1gb x 2 in order to get a total of 3gb of ram for my system plus dual channel enabled for both. its ddr2 667mhz.

i have googled it but just want to know that anyone is using this combination of ram.

Dont know whether i should post this here, but have anyone of u tried playing back a radio (like a walkman) using d line in input of a pc's sound card. In other words, can i listen to the radio (walkman) which is plugged to the line in input of the sound card, using d speakers which is plugged to the line out output of the sound card.

I know dat playing back of the radio can be done by directly plugging the speaker's cable to the walkman. Is there a software to 'stream' directly from d input device (walkman).

Proxy Server.

Was just wondering, can i host a proxy server for some remotely located pc to hook it up to the internet?

Let's say that those pc doesnt have any internet connection, only modem and phone line.

Meaning that, the remote pc will dial to the host's proxy server, then from there to the internet. But, the remote pc doesnt have any internet connection subscribed, only a phone line n modem

Can this be done?

encountered problem with my windows xp sp2; when i open my com n try to click any of the partitions, it wouldnt open the particular partition. However, when i right click n click(left) open or explore, then only d partition is accessed.

another thing when i plug in my thumb drive, d same thing happens, even worse, i cannot format nor eject d thumb drive, it says some utilities or using d thumb drive or sth like that, when i didnt even try to access any of the files in the thumb drive.

by the way, i have already installed a new copy of windows; even formatted d system partition.

Water Cooling or Air Cooling

Having a dilemma, planning to upgrade d cooling system but not sure which is a better cooling solution???

Planning to get a water-cooled system, but read some forums saying that heatsinks are better compared to liquid cooling!!! It is stated that water cooled looks cooler which is not what i aim for; my aim is to get better cooling (lower temperature).

Nyways, i am using a s939.

Having problems with using my speedfan, i have temp1 (the topmost) showing 127 c but this value doesnt change. Mind asking if u all know what does this temp 1 is???

Using a amd x2 3800 am2?? Need reply asap

Cos when using another fan control utility, my cpu temp only shows a value of 40 sth celcius

Another thing mind asking what is the idle max temp that the cpu should reach?
