HELP on installing new gpu

Need advise guys,

I'm installing rx6600 GPU on my rig and unfortunately have problem.. Auto shutdown. Tried drivers from manufacturer and also updated adrenalin... Same.
Almost impossible problem happen due to PSU bcoz the pc running OK with RX 580 ( 8+6 pin pcie) compare to rx6600(8 pin)

Any help appreciated guys...

GA B450M S2H
16GB GDDR4 2666MHz

Hi...

Rather than buying a ps3 ( for my son ), I'd rather upgrade the existing pc to be used for the whole family.

The current spec:

CPU - Intel Core I3 540
Motherboard : ASUS P7H55-M LE
RAM : 2X Corsair PC3-10700H 667MHz
Graphic : Sapphire Radeon 5670 1GB DDR5 128bit
Harddisk --- For sure need to upgrade
Casing n Power Supply-- PowerLogic ( need to recheck )
Monitor - can support up to maximum graphic reso, I think ( Its an LCD TV )

Lots of lag when playing splinter cell

I'm looking at the harddisk and graphic card for upgrade or should i also upgrade the proc n the mainboard??

I've a new normal PC spec

Processor i3 540
Ram 2 GB DDR3
Powerlogic Casing and PSU
Graphic Colorful 7300GT

Currently using my old 7300gt card. Plan to upgrade the Graphic.
Budget limited (max RM250).

Games to play like wolfeinstein, sfiv, battlefield, wsc.

Any suggestion? Should i get new or 2nd?
