Hi all sifus,

My nephew barely passed his SPM with 2 credits.
Based on the website information, public universities accept students with minimum 3 credits to 5 credits.
While he doesn't excelled academically, we don't think he cut out for vocational courses either.
Anyone know if public universities allow exemption and accepts students who are below the requirements?
He quite keen on teaching so perhaps maktab perguruan or maybe kindergarden teacher assistant?
Financially it's tough for the family to go for private universities so we are trying to find the best option for him.

Enrichment class for 5 year old daughter

Hi all,

I would like to send my 5 year old daughter to enrichment classes.
Currently she's doing online kindergarten but was thinking to also send her to Maths and Chinese classes. We are looking at a few. Yealaoshi, Kumons, Monkey Maths.
Any idea or review or experience to share, dear sifus?

Chinese school vs Private school

Hi all,

Would like to get some advice from sifus here.
Wife and I are considering whether to send our children to Chinese or private school.
Some people said that Chinese schools are good in building characters, toughen them up.
Some said private school encourage creative thinking etc.

While Chinese school is good for characters building, we also want them to be proficient in English and able to share their thoughts.

Care to share your experience and thoughts?

Hi all,

There a ice cream seller riding motorcycle ard my taman almost weekly. I wonder if he still got customers in view of C19.
Perhaps we should somehow buy a few and belanja neighbors kids at the same time.
Times are bad and we should help out these ppl.
