Replaced VGA cable with DVI-HDMI (PC to TV)

Finally, replaced my DVI-VGA adapter + VGA cable with DVI-HDMI cable to connect my PC to my LG 32" lcd tv. ~RM40 bucks for that dvi-hdmi cable at Harvey Norman.. ok larr..

No more ghosting and esp low-res desktop settings. Prev display output at a horrendous 1024x768 (with occasion switching ratio 4:3 to 16:9), and now max res 1280x800 (wxga, as max setting available for this old tv).

A few ques:
1. If there is no sound coming out from the tv, what is the cheapest graphic card that can output audio via dvi-hdmi cable? Currently there is sound via the 3.5 headphphone jack connected from pc to tv, just wondering if it is possible for audio to be transferred via dvi-hdmi..
2. Or, should I get a soundcard with hdmi? (is there such a thing?)

Inb4, graphic card only got VGA & 2 DVI ports. No HDMI.
