Washroom Renovation

Hi sifus,

Any idea if possible to renovate the old-designed washroom (shower room is separated from toilet as photo shown) into two separate washrooms (with individual wc)? Plan to have additional wc in the shower room instead of queueing for poo in the early morning

Since the shower room does not have any waste drain piping for toilet bowl, is that anything I need to know when consulting with contractor and any estimated cost to do these? Sorry I am quite a newbie in renovation

Car seat cover for P2 Viva

Plan to install new leather car seat cover for my Viva 850 manual, any reliable shop for recommendation? Preferably manage to complete the installation all at once at melaka.
If service and installation skill, I dont mind to drive up from melaka to the shop for installation, as long as it worth for it.

Preve / Iriz / other auto cars

Hi guys,

With current financial status, was reserving RM650 cash flow for car monthly repayment. All family members rise the same agreement, that is not go for second hand car, but each of them still hold their mindset.

Parents : Get a sedan better...
Elder brother : Don't get local cars...
Younger brother : Get Iriz, looks very modern and stylish leh...

Currently was comparing between P1 Preve Exec and Iriz 1.6 Exec, seems like Preve would be a better choice right? Fuel comsumption would not be a big issue, as most of the time it is just town drive between home to office (10km++).

But as bro said, try to avoid P1 or P2 cars (yet he is driving Saga FLX ), just a silly question, any non-local brand that the monthly installment is lower than RM650 (10% down payment term)?

For me, less than RM650 monthly + safety wise = good enough for me.

So guys, if you are me, Preve , Iriz or any other suggestion?

Malware/Adware on New RMN3

Hi guys,

I has purchased a RedMi Note 3 from XiaoMi Official Website, but not even 1 week, I found out that everytime I enter my browser (no matter HTML browser / google chrome), the phone sure entered into the "virus"-detected website.

Is it because of malware/adware?

Tried to uninstall chrome browser amd clear data for HTML browser... issue still there
Tried install many types of antivirus and anti-malware apps, no use at all
Tried to reset the phone back to factory default, but once open the broswer, it appears again. Really annoying

Any idea/suggestion to solve this? had google it but seems like no workable solution for this

I am a newbie in car mod and currently having a manual transmission 850cc Viva with no power steering. Planning to change for power steering and if possible change to 1.0 auto gearbox as well.

Anyone from here have this experience before? Do p2 service centre provide such modification services? Might need your sharing and experience. Tq tq

Iriz vs Preve

Hi buddies,

So far I had test drive for both cars, comments as below:

Iriz, really easy for parking due to hatchback, and of course, it is cheaper than Preve as for Iriz I would go for 1.3L instead of 1.6L (9 years monthly installment for Preve Exec 1.6L is just RM50 higher than Iriz Exec 1.6L, preve is better? Not so sure though)

Preve, assuming monthly installment is calculated as mentioned in the poll, and since its monthly installment only RM20++ higher from Iriz 1.6 Exec CVT. So if I buy Iriz, why don't I get a Preve, right? But the Preve that I am afford to purchase is Executive instead of Premium version, so Executive has no CFE advantage ya

FYI, the range of monthly installment would be capped around RM 600 only, no choices but salary still small at the moment

Safe-driving-style driver here and mostly probably would be city drive with families. Planned not to change to other car after this (at least drive for 6~7 years kut). But my first priority goes to the comfort sitting to passengers.

Hi all sifus here,

Was having dilemma for months whether should I change my current Viva 850 Manual to a better car or not? Plan to sell/trade in the Viva if I am really buying a new car.

I need some advise on this, should I "enhance" my Viva instead of buying a new car?

Viva currently I am using:
1. 850 manual (no choice, since I get it as 2nd hand car from my brother)
2. Empty accessories with 12'' steel rims, no spoiler or skirting all those (exactly a non-modified car since purchased)
3. The most irritating to me is its floating and bad handling when passing by a uneven road or bumper, even though I was tried to lower down the speed.
4. 18x,xxx mileage (with accident free, really thanks god for the safe ride)

Criteria for me if buying for the new one:
1. In term of budget-wise, I should fit it to below RM 600 per month (Hmm, car with somewhere RM 50k+/- ?) due to other commitments as well.
2. First hand / new (thanks @blackpc for correction)
3. Auto transmission
4. Both sedan and hatchback are okay for me, just that sedan would have a higher priority due to the boot space
4. FC (dont really mind, as long as not high as Waja 1.6 will do)

I have a few options in my mind, but all of these have some conflicts among each other.
1. Saga FLX SE 1.6
My bro is currently driving with Saga SV CVT, keeping complain with me for all the bads, especially jerking at low speed, and the car can easily overheated (OMG? How if it happens to SE 1.6 too)

2. Preve Exec CVT 1.6
Though it is slightly above my budget, it will still be in my wishing list, just that the review from other forumers seems like "If buy Exec why not go for Premium CFE", " IAFM+ pick up speed super slow", etc. Is it the engine really such terrible in condition (busy with works and not yet have a free time to arrange for test drive yet)

3. Myvi 1.5 AT Advanced
The spec seems okay with me, but it is a hatchback, with a lower bot space
