Perodua Myvi

I have been posting on this forum for a while, trying to find what car i should buy. I am thinking about the Myvi now. I used to rent one a couple of years ago and it was a great drive. But when i go to buy the car, what things should i look out for? How much mileage can the Myvi handle? are there any common issues i should check out? is there a big difference in power between 1 litre engine and 1.3? budget is around 15k.

Thanks

Proton Gen 2

Hi all

I am thinking of buying a Proton Gen 2 around 2005 model. I have heard a lot of mixed opinions about this car. I was wandering if anyone can give me some advice? What should i look for when inspecting a potential car? I have heard to stay clear from the Cam pro, but i haven't really heard much from people who have actually owned one first hand.

Any advice would be great

thank you
What Car?

Im in the market for a reliable second hand car, but need some advice. I want a car that is safe, so needs to have air bags, abs and esc if possible. I can only spend around 20k but don't know which car is best. Most likely i can only afford proton, perodua or really old foreign car. Can someone please advise me?

Most likely i will leave the country after 2 year, so buying brand new car won't be a good idea.

Currently i have proton wira 1.3 aeroback, it has lasted me 2 years and i am very surprised it has not caused me any problems at all!! selling has no value, but my friend told me he scrapped his old proton for parts and they gave him 4k for it. Does this sound true? if so does anyone know a guy? ( and yes i have asked him for his contact but he is hesitant, hence why i ask, maybe he was exaggerating)

Thank you
