How should I reply HR Rep?

Hi lyn users,

I would like to know how should I reply an email to a HR Rep that got back to me (somewhat offering me me a job position), while I'm awaiting the feedback from the other companies whom I've applied to?

Should I politely inform him/her that I'll consider the job offer while indicating that I'm awaiting other offers? The thing is I'm afraid I might pass up the opportunity to get a placement esp. with the job market these days

Appreciate everyone's suggestions here esp. those who have similar experiences as myself

Hey all,

Girl didn`t wanna give number cos she said we should 'get to know each other better first'. Offered her IG a/c, we followed each other.

Is it fine to DM for a girl`s number on IG (met on an occasion & had a good f2f convo) or let the convo flow thru text i.e. light convo topics b4 asking for her number?

If I do this, I`ve taken a big step from that first meeting. Girl will have impression that I wanna get serious & be more than just friends, prob kena rejected.

Should I get to know her over time via text & get her comfortable with me then set up a casual date or likewise, invite her out based on her interests?

The situation here is undeniable when I`m starting uni, there`s tons of pretty girls around. Asides from the main priority of studying, when it comers to studying, tbh its definitely the best time to mingle around and get to know more girls as post-graduation life would not provide me with the freedom as when I`m studying. I would surely look around and notice if there any chicks around....not surprisingly, I notice that girls check out the guys as well.

My question is.....HOW DO YOU APPROACH GIRLS and WHAT ARE THE SIGNS TO LOOK OUT FOR IN GIRLS THAT THEY ARE EITHER INTERESTED IN GUYS or ARE OPEN FOR APPROACHES WITHOUT SEEMINGLY BEING CREEPY OR DESPO IN THEIR POV???

Yes, I`ve Googled these ques and attempted them myself, girls with totally different characters & even to girls who are elder than myself who mostly have bf. Inb4 western culture from Googling certainly kenot pakai in Malaysia cos Malaysia girls esp amoi (not stereotyping here.....) are generally conservative/shy.

UPDATES:

Got to know this girl from community gym class which I went to the other day, turns out she`s studying near my uni. Got her IG & subsequently few days shared a story of Christmas celebration at my church just like any user would do....she replied me & surprisingly said she used to go the same church as myself....asked her about what she does in church, how long she`s been a member & so on la.....(but didn`t go to any personal stuff like if she`s single or not, family, where she stay, her friends, or what she likes doing yet lah)

After advice from my friend, I decided to text her & ask her for her number, saying that I`d prefer to continue our texts on whatsapp rather than on IG...she replied me initially with a nope, then with a number, which I don`t know if its legit hers or not lah (cos my previous experience was a diff girl gave me her boyfie number pulak, & tht was my bad also back then, too pushy & deswai I am learning & trying a diff approach here).

Later that night, I texted her this short simple text:

Me: Hey....... it`s ............. here

Her: Hi (my name)

I`m really in a dilemma of not knowing what to text her next (as a friend first) but at the same time.....WHAT DO /K THINK I SHOULD DO TO CONTINUE TOWARDS SPARKING THAT INTEREST TOWARDS HER IMPLICITLY WITHOUT GETTING FRIENDNZONED????

First Date

Hi guys, I met this girl from a career workshop. That was when we got to know each other, exchanged contacts & so on. For the past couple of weeks, we`ve been engaging in conversations through What`s App. Things have been going good so far between the 2 of us.

Planning to ask her out for a first date, but not now, cos she`s busy w/ work. So, I randomly popped a question on what she thinks of an ideal indoor/outdoor activity (however, I did not say that it was going to be the 2 of us).

She doesn`t reply w/ a list of activity she likes, instead these were her replies:
Outdoor - loves spending her time w/ her family & friends & also depends on what others like to do.
Indoor - okay w/ the malls but confesses she likes walking & seeing people

I`m aware that the first date is always the crucial thing that could either blow or bloom a relationship, which leads to my 2 questions below:

1. Should I reveal my intentions of bringing her out for the date now?

2. Should my first date w/ her be a 'surprise' or would sticking to what she likes turns her off?

Would appreciate all the help I need as I`m rather in a dilemma on this. Thanks guys.

Hi lyn forumers & cupid corner sifu`s,

I can`t seem to get my mind away from this girl I met at an event since yesterday.
Went over to have a chat with her asking about where she`s from, what does she do, how she felt abt her job.......and so on......

However, I was unable to have longer conversations with her, as there was this photographer who keeps wanna take her picture (which is totally potong stim....pretty sure it happens to all of us) when you`re trying to have an engaging conversation, what more with a girl.

So, I went of somewhere else and came back later asking if she didn`t mind giving me her number as well as telling her that we should hang out some day.

She didn`t give me her number but asked me to add her on FB. I dunno why I didn`t asked for IG that time.....haiizzzzz......

As I dun have data on my phone, upon reaching home,I decided to add her on FB and also on the same night, I texted her saying "I was really happy to meet you today, besides complimenting that she`s a special girl".

Then, I realized that she`s inactive on FB, given her last post was way back in July 2017. Feeling disappointed why I should`ve tempted her to give me her number, for me to send her pictures (as we did take selfie`s together), I decided to find her on IG.

Found her IG account and had second thoughts to follow her or not. At the same time, I realized that I`ve texted her on FB ady, and I don`t wanna creep her, make her lose interest in me or seem too needy by either sending another private DM or following her.
The thing is that I shouldn`t expect an instant reply when it comes to text messages (say 3 days to a week, to test the water if it`s calm or not)

My questions are:

1. Would a girl be more likely to respond if I send her a follow up message after getting no reply from the first text?

2. I felt like my first message may not be a good first impression, so l am thinking of sending a second one back just to let them know I'm serious. From what I've been reading of, girls seem to have concerns with guys not being serious in expressing their feelings to a girl that they really have feelings for. So, I figured a second message is a good way to reaffirm that I am serious and I wanna get close to her. Am I wrong about that? Or are there any other ideas?

3. Are there any steps which I`ve totally messed up from my approach?

4. Is there any way/approach that I can somewhat use get to reconnect with her (maybe be good friends first, then see how it develops, but not for too long also) without being friendzoned?

Please help me & I would really appreciate all the advice and guidance

I can`t seem to find any gooding leng lui`s. If got also mostly taken or scared scared to talk wit me.

Aiyoh, kesiannya when I think of my social life.

Normally which course in college/uni manyak leng lui? k/ got any tips?

Btw.anyone here's from Inti? Maybe I might go for degree there. Mind if \k can share your thoughts as well.
