            <title>No response from hard disk</title>
            <link>http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/378522</link>
<description>I&amp;#39;ve a portable desktop hard disk and it just won&amp;#39;t start anymore. I&amp;#39;ve tried to send for repair but the technician says it is beyond repair within his means. I need to recover the data in the hard disk but he is using software based recovery. Since my hard disk can&amp;#39;t be started at all, retrieving the data via software is not possible.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Any other options to retrieve the data inside? Magnetic ways? I need to find a reasonable solution. Thanks.</description>
