Directions to LookOut Point Restaurant from MRR2 (via Pandah Indah Exit)

1. Exit the MRR2 at Pandan Indah (NOT Pandan Jaya) Interchange.
2. Go straight until the T-Junction.Esso will be on your left. Turn right and then immediately turn left at the traffic light.
3. Go straight pass the Hospital Ampang (on your left) and Projet (on your right).
4. You will come to a traffic light beside Puteri Park Plaza.Turn left.
5. Go on straight turn right at the 2nd traffic light junction.(road to Kajang/Ulu Langat)
6. From this traffic light the road is winding for about 3 km. Drive carefully as the road is dark and winding and cars travel at relatively high speeds.
7. Just after the white sign board “Look Out Point” you will see a telecom transmission tower. Put your right signal and start to slow down. Be very careful at this point because you will have to make a sharp right turn.
8. Turn right when you see the food court. Drive up the hill to the LookOut Point Restaurant. Be careful for the 'sharp' hump at the gate entrance.

Note :
Parking space is limited so you might have to park at the foothill and walk up. See you soon

Competition good for consumer?

Just a thought that came into my mind. There has been price war on the DSLR lately and it seems like everyone is trying to have a piece of market share. Thus, from the economics point of view, competition is good for consumer

Think deeper, what happened if the brand u r using can no longer sustain the loses and thus announce a retreat in the DSLR market. The Pro will of course move on, switch system and not a problem cause they need it to earn a living.

Wat happened to your investment? Cheap starting kitlens. You started off with RM2K, later buy tripod, memory card, bag, accessories, couple of lens and end up paying like RM 5K on it. Wat happened to your investment? in this case, is it still good for consumer? is this consumer benefiting from the competition?

No brand war or watever, just some marketing and economics. Appreciate your opinions and ur 2 cents.

If you think it's still going to benefit consumer, why? if otherwise, why ?

The assumption is, total stop in production, and thus no one in the market will be adopting the lens mount anymore.

p/s: of course this is just an assumption, at the same time, the yada yada about this won't happen is NOT going to help the discussion, and thus should be avoided

1) Bad news, 2 of the models can't make it, so there's only 4 models.
2) I have done some survey, there is a titiwangsa LRT there. Options for you guys
a) for those who drive can choose to have breakfast at the venue, but it's a bit inside u have to go in and there is a mamak stall named Restoran Hazlam
b) for those who uses the public transport it's better that you have ur breakfast first and gather at the LRT.

The brand is NOT for another brand war ok. It's easier for me to group u all so u guys can trigger the flashes and share equipments

screen resolution problem

I have installed redhat el4 on my MS Virtual PC and it's now giving me problem with the screen resolution everytime i boot to the GUI. The console during boot works fine. Any idea how i can reset that ? and what's the best resolution ?

Fees: NOT RM 150, NOT RM 100, but it's only RM 50
Details:

Breakfast which is sandwich will be provided. Each participant will also get a bottle of mineral water.

Itinerary
8.00am - reach venue and gather, had breakfast (provided)
8.30am - shooting start group 1 - Sofea, group 2 - jacquelyn, group 3 - castell
9.30am - change model group 1 - jacquelyn, group 2 - castell, group 3 - sofea
10.30am - take a break, model change clothes
11.00am - change model group 1 - castell, group 2, sofea, group 3 - jacquelyn
12pm - group shooting, free and easy (optional, depends on timing)
1.30pm - End

if i manage to get 4 models then i will increase the participants to 20.

Because I only manage to get 3 models, i will need to limit the participant to 15 only. They will be divided into 3 groups, 5 person in each group and each group will have a leader.

Terms and Conditions
1) Please do NOT harass my models ! Yup althought you pay, i'm sorry to tell you that you CAN'T do what you want to my models. I have promised them that you guys are good people and won't take advantage of them.
2) Models reserved the rights to NOT pose if she thinks it's not appropriate.
3) Please pay by 19 Feb 2008 or it leaves me no choice but to cancel your name and let those in waiting list to join.
4) The organizer reserved the rights to change the details of this photoshoot that include, the date, venue, time, models, details and terms and conditions.

Good photography

if it is the equipment that matters, then how can some people get good pictures with even pro-sumer camera ?

if it's the skill then why are there so many people spending money on DSLR? fast f2.8 lenses ? VR/IS lenses ?

Luck ? no comment

Photoshop? camera phone will do, don't bother even getting a DSLR

2x Streamyx on 1 server ?

my internet connection at office is crawling, we are planning to upgrade it.

we currently have a server acting as a proxy connected to streamyx. I'm wondering if i can add another network card and get another streamyx line with router modem connecting to the same PC? Well main reason is to save cost ler.

How will the server knows how to route the traffic ? to streamyx 1 or streamyx 2 ?

btw i'm using windows server 2003 R2.
