O2 Atom Exec problem on receiving calls

Hi,

I have problem on receiving calls when the pda phone (O2 Atom Exec running WM5, original ROM) in standby mode.

This is especially when the phone has been off for 2-3 minutes and it will hang when it received call.

If I pick the phone up within 1-2 seconds the screeen won't hang, but if I don't pick it up after a few seconds the screen will hang completely until I soft reset it.

Anybody has idea about this problem.

Thanks

[addedon]January 7, 2008, 10:55 am[/addedon]Hi,

The problem has been resolved by hard reset the device although I'm not willing to do this step.

I just wonder what software will cause this problem, ROM itself ??

Nevertheless I would like to perform some trial and error experiment by installing those softwares one by one to see which lead the problem.

Thanks,

[addedon]January 16, 2008, 12:10 am[/addedon]After experimenting for a couple of weeks (hard-reset -> reinstall softwares -> problem recurred -> hard-reset -> reinstall softwares one-by-one) and finally I found out the root cause of the problem.

The problem is due to the XCPUScalar which is a tuning software that crashed the phone after receiving calls when the phone was in idle mode.

Problem solved !!

Download message through email client

Hi there,

Anyone has any idea regarding how to retrieve the email messages from webmail where user moves the messages to other folders created by them manually. Retrieval can be done by using M$ outlook or other MUA that anyone can recommend me as long as it can accomplish the task.

regards,

N0F3@R0720
