TM Monopoly and Bullying?

So after my unifi contract had expired, and after TM had announced the RM129 plan for 100Mbps, I contacted TM staff on live chat to subscribe to the newly announced package. But I was told that the new plans are for new users only. So I asked for a downgrade instead, but the staff told me that even if I downgraded my current plan (50Mbps), I'd still have to pay the same price (RM199) which effectively makes downgrading pointless.

I thought the new government had intended to make internet cheaper for all Malaysians? Or is this one of TM's many shady bullying tactics? My only other option is Maxis, but I have heard terrible stories about its services and frequent service disruptions and throttling. Time isn't available in my area (Pandan Indah). Anyone here from Pandan Indah who can comment on Maxis' services?

I need some advice guys!

Quality of products in Pudu

Hi all audiophile sifu(s),

I have been looking for a set of computer speakers to replace my cheap, old one. One friend advised me to grab a set of bedside hifi rather than those meant for computers as they offer more bang for the buck.

So I went to Jalan Pudu-which is known for its electronic goods shops-to check out the old stores there. And all I found were products with bright, gaudy and ugly designs and unfamiliar brand names (Ailiang, Aviano, Akai, BGM, Flepcher, Coocay, Diweiqi, Dunn, Ricson, GXL, Micronsonic, Kworld, etc).

Correct me if I was wrong. Are these hifi sets reliable at all? Do anyone have experience with them?
