ai,

i have one question about shell script regarding for "expr" function

i have using this command "previous=`expr $previous + 0001`" where previous value is 0001, but when the script running, the result appear as

expr 1 + 0001. The result i need as expr 0001 + 0001 should be 0002...please help me

NIC not detected On OS

Hi..i have one server install with Fedora Core8 and 2 nIC...one on-board and another one PCI NIC...the problem is, my PCI NIC not detected on Fedora network configuration and the LED not blinking and only appear yellow colour..i try change my cable, the result is same...change the NIC still same not detected..i'm quite how to solve this prooblem...anybody can help me to solve this problem?
