Booking fee and rent

Hi Sifus,

I recently wanted to rent a place and confirmed with the agent (with a valid REN checked) through Whatsapp. I've paid 1-month rental as booking fee (i.e. earnest deposit) to the agency he's under. He said he will send me the Offer to Rent letter next, but it has been four days and he hasn't been replying any of my text or calls.

I'm getting frustrated as I'd like to move in next week if possible and and thinking of renting another place instead. Since I haven't sign any booking form or offer letter, can I request for a refund of the booking fee?

Hi /k/, I need some help here.

I need to buy a piece of sandblasted glass for project purposes, about the size of A4 paper. I've tried a few places, but they don't seems interested in taking a small order like this. And I have no prior experience in purchasing such material as well.

If anyone know any shops that I can get a sandblasted glass that would be great. Preferably around KL/PJ area. Thank you in advance.
