And seeing as ICLS offers this course, I am having thoughts of taking up the course.

Do any of you have any reviews, advice and/or guide for a beginner wanting to take up Mandarin here?

Medical Check Up (for Job) when you're SICK

Hi all...

I have an offshore medical check up tomorrow, for a job I'm about to start this April.

Thing is, my body decided to get me sick (fever, flu, sore throat, nausea, body pain, etc). Yeah, the whole combo, and of all times, NOW

Will being sick have an effect on the results on the medical check-up tomorrow?

Thing is, I'm in the middle of considering another offer, while also attending other interviews.
How do I delay giving an answer?

Public Transport To Velosi (M) Sdn Bhd

Hi all.

I am not sure if I am at the right place, but I need help, urgently!

I have an interview tomorrow at Velosi (M) Sdn Bhd, but I am not sure how to get there by public transport, and I am hoping to get as much info as possible.

From my research so far, the nearest KTM to Velosi (M) Sdn Bhd (which is in Bandar Sunway) is KTM Subang Jaya and KTM Setia Jaya.

The factors I am taking into consideration are:

(1) Availability of taxis to and fro each place

(2) Time taken to reach place

Any other suggestions would be great too!

P.S. I do not have my own transport, nor do I have a data plan (in case some may suggest using MyTeksi, EasyTaxi, etc)

Hi everyone. I have an offer to work at a local O&G service provider specialised in corrosion and inspection. I haven't received full details on the offer yet, however I do know that the position I am being offered in this company is as a Corrosion/Inspection Technician, with a possible contract of 3-5 years. What are the career prospects like as a technician, and what are potential career paths I can embark on to ensure a successful career and/or life ahead?

P.S. I am a Master's Degree holder in Chemical Engineering from a reputable overseas university. Yes, I am a Fresh Graduate. And no, I have no idea what my salary is going to be like.
