iPad and More cannot get IP by router DHCP

Hello.
I need help from some guru.
I often have issue on some devices in my house that unable to get IP assigned by my router DHCP. After those devices connected to router, the IP it got is not in the network eg 16.112.7.0 and subnet 255.255.0.0. While most my others devices including the wifi printer does not have this problem. I will have to manually set a static IP for those device in order to access the network.
What is the reason causing this problem? I m confused because sometime it will be able to connect without the problem.

Hi,
I have a l7-n-r2000 router from TM unifi.
Does anyone know if I could add this as a subnet to my existing network?
I can't find the Static IP setting in the Internet/Wan section. It only have option for PPPoE.
Is this because of the customized firmware for TM?

Is that means I can only use it as AP but not able to create a subnet?

Astro IPTV service -- sucks!

Wondering if anyone have the same feeling.

I subscribed to astro IPTV since last year because it offered slight saving and highlighted that astro broadcast will not be interupted by the rain.

Yes, the broadcast was not interupted by rain, but, over the past 1 year, there were more than 10 downtimes. all the internet, astro and voice service was not accessible during that periods. The sms that supposed to be a notice always sent in after the service resume.

When i call the service centre for assistance, could never solve any problems after long SOP on troubleshooting. Many times, I was asked to reset the router and resetting the wifi.

for those who are thinking of changing to IPTV, I suggest you think twice before you make any decision since we are tied to 2 years contract... compare to this, I rather stick to TM unifi... or are there any other recommendations?

gmail attacked by spam

Hello to all,

does anyone have experience that gmail account is attacked by spam mail?

The shown sender (felxcofficesvr26@server26.dns-server-ip.net) is keep sending spam to my gmail account until google bounce back other emails. However, it doesn't seem to stop the spam, it still keep coming in.

I search the web and found similar sympton suggested that this gmail address has been added to a spam list on a auto-spamming program and it will sends out spam as schedule.

1. How to stop this kind of attack?
2. why it couldn't be block as SPAM in gmail.
