Hide Air-Con with grille and box up

Hi all, I am renovating my home and I saw some design reference that they do a box up and put grille to hide wall-mounted air-con. I requested my contractor and ID to plan for me but then they do not really recommend this kind of installation as they told me that the cold air will condense and turn into water droplet at the grille there and also it will be a bit troublesome to do maintenance.

What do you guys think about this? I need advice on this.
