            <description>Nid a little help from the Mac Mayaians out there.   &lt;!--emo&amp;:)--&gt;&lt;img src='http://static.lowyat.net/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /&gt;&lt;!--endemo--&gt; &lt;br /&gt;not really sure where to post this question but here goes :&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#39;m still a maya newb after using the freaking software for quite some time but i still wanna know whether&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;do u guys know why is the maya model i modelled in mac looks so flat and white without any shadings at all?&lt;br /&gt;But if it&amp;#39;s opened in windows its back to the normal greyish shaded model.&lt;br /&gt;Does it have something to do with the settings or izzit a mac-ish problem (i.e display quality too high crap according to my friend)?&lt;br /&gt;Wonder if anyone know how to fix the flat shaded white model back to the normal greyish typical maya looking model?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To make it clearer i shall put up the screenshots.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Flat shiny white model in mac&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href='http://img184.imageshack.us/my.php?image=picture1ee9.png' target='_blank'&gt;&lt;img src='http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/903/picture1ee9.th.png' border='0' alt='user posted image' /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Grey shaded maya-ish looking model in windows&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href='http://img184.imageshack.us/my.php?image=picture2om7.png' target='_blank'&gt;&lt;img src='http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/8442/picture2om7.th.png' border='0' alt='user posted image' /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;wonder if anyone has a cure for this :&amp;lt;</description>
