What is Quick Charge 2.0?

Quick Charge 2.0 is Qualcomm's fast charging technology that allows a device to charge the battery faster without frying its innards. It's designed to speed up the charging process, so you spend less time charging your device at the wall. Quick Charge is a proprietary Qualcomm technology, integrated into Snapdragon chipsets.

How efficient is the Quick Charge 2.0?

According to Qualcomm, in a 30-minute test a traditional charger (5V, 1A) managed to power a battery up 12 per cent, while the first generation of Quick Charge (5V 2A) managed 30 per cent, and Quick Charge 2.0 (9V, 2A) filled it to 60 per cent in 30 mins.

That's a significant difference in charging speed.

Quick Charge 2.0 certified adapters come in two classes: A and B. Class A is capable of delivering 5V, 9V and 12V. Class B is capable of delivering 5V, 9V, 12V and 20V. Most adapters with Quick Charge 2.0 are now Class A.

There are two sides to this fast charging arrangement. In order to benefit from Quick Charge 2.0 a device needs to be coupled with a compatible Quick Charge 2.0 wall charger.

Quick Charge 2.0 smartphones and tablets

Although Quick Charge 2.0 is the name Qualcomm applies, you'll see it referred to under other names, as other manufacturers apply their own branding. It's generally spoken about on flagship devices, as a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset has been in most of those high-end devices so far.

ASUS motherboard RMA

I bought a ASUS Sabertooth P67 last year december and yesterday i just get myself a front panel USB 3.0. During the moment i insert the connector to the mobo USB 3.0 header, i just notice that one of the golden pin in the USB 3.0 header is missing. Supposed the USB 3.0 header has 19 pins and i calculated mine is 18 pins only and this is the 1st time i am using this header. So now i would like to know how long does the RMA takes? Will ASUS change a new mobo for me or repair the unit for me?

I met this girl,W last year November in my friend's birthday party. Both of us don't know each other and somehow we end up sitting in the same table, and we start to chat and before i left, we exchange hp number and fb. After the day we met, we still keep in touch via fb and sms.

W said that she was a bit surprise with my friendliness as i can talk most of the things with her, maybe she find it strange But it does not affect much. Till one day when i ask her what is she going to do during holidays, she said she is going to accompany her bf and i was like "WTF"... and frankly speaking i am disappointed when i get to know this news. Starting from that day i don't sms/fb her anymore, as i afraid i might be bugging her.

Then on this year Jan, one day she appear online in fb chat and i just tease her by saying, "WOW, you suddenly appear in the fb chat" and she replied,"ya, right now i am quite sad, looking for someone to talk". Then i ask her the reasons and she told me that she break up wither her bf. I console her again and again. Then, on the same month, there is a PC Expo held in her place and she invited me to accompany she and her another friend. So i drove to the place where she waited for me and head straight to the PC Expo. The best part is her friend was late and basically me and W walk around the PC Expo. By the time W's friend arrived, we just have finish visiting the expo and we accompany her friend to walk again. After we leave the PC Expo, i drove her back and during the way back i heard that she called her mum asking whether the maid had prepared the lunch for her or not and from her face expression, i can see that the maid did not prepare W's share. So i man up and ask her for having lunch together. After finish having lunch together, i drove her back and that's the end of our first date.

The second date happens last week friday, where this time we meet at Popular Book Store to spend our RM200 voucher. This time, she invited her friend and her friend was late again...so left two of us shopping around for books. And after we finish shopping for the books, i drove her back. When we get in to the car, we exchanged souvenir as both of us were on trip during chinese new year.And for addition of up coming valentine's day, i had designed a A3 size poster as a valentine's day gift for her. The poster is showing a korean cartoon character, Pucca kissing Garu where Garu's face turns into red. She asking me am i the Garu? and i was like LOL... On the same time, i was thinking if i am the Garu, that's means she is the Pucca? And we go to another shopping mall to find the scientific calculator for her younger bro but we end up getting nothing. At the end of the day, i drop her in front of her house. To be honest, i am a little bit surprised as i never expect she will let me know her house location during the second date. The following day, i was thinking why don't i try to ask the Popular Bookstore which is nearby to my house and i was damn lucky as I managed to get some info where to get the scientific calculator. I called her and tell her about the information and she was happy to heard it and she said so sorry to trouble me, but i just said it is nothing. Then on the same night, she told me that she could not get the calculator by herself as she don't have the transport + her parents were busy + she is road dump where she don't know how to go to the place unless someone guide her. I said ok lo and we decided to meet again tomorrow. Both of us decided to skip the class just for the sake of the calculator. And i ask her after getting the calculator, would she hang out with me? she said ok...Later on she sms me asking is it ok for her younger sis to tag along as her younger sis has RM20 vouncher to spend in Popular Bookstore, i guess i could not say no so i end up saying it is fine.

After we get the calculator, we left her sis alone in the bookstore while we had a walk in the hypermarket. She showed me the souvenir that i bought for her and telling how much she like it. Later on her sis called W and we meet again and W ask us are there any places we wanted to go? W's younger sis and I said no. The reasons i said No is because i don't wish to go on further with W's younger sis tagging along So we straight proceed back to home. That's the end of our third date.

During Valentine's Day, around 3pm i called W asking her later around 6pm is she free or not? i wish to meet her at a coffee house which is near to her house, she said she will let me know later. Then she sms me saying she could not make it. Then i replied "it's ok, maybe we can meet at some other days".... after i send out this message, i just realize that i had made myself looks like a fool she replied my sms saying " but i am busy now days, feeling tired" Then i told myself, i can kiss her goodbye.... but i still reply her saying "ya hor, i had forgotten that u just enroll the foundation course, so i wish you happy studying". Half an hour later, she sms me but i feel so heavy to check it. Anyway how i still read the message. She said "how about this coming sunday? I am free on that day, can meet you up. do let me know whether you can make it or not". I replied her yes i can make it and wat time we are going to meet. She said usual time, venue is the place i wish to go with her during our third date and this time she drive me to there and i will be guiding her. I replied her i am fine with the idea.

I have interest on her and i wish that i can go on further with her. So you guys (gals) think that should I confess to her this coming sunday? If i failed to win her heart, should i keep in touch with her as usual or remain as normal friends? Please advise me on this.Thank you and sorry for the super duper long story.

Helo, i would like to ask does TP-Link TD-W8960N support DDNS service such as No-IP? According to the user manual that i get from the website, it said it does support, but i want to confirm with the end user instead of the manual. My purpose is to host a web server in my own PC.
