Help! PC Couldn't boot

A noob needing help here

My PC which I bought in 2006 is running on a Abit KN8 Ultra motherboard, I have 2 IDE harddisk, one of which I bought together with this PC and used as master. Another i kept from the previous pc and use as slave.

The problem starts last month when suddenly I go to My Computer the slave HDD is gone. So i thought it's too old and has broken down. I just ignored it.

On Sunday, I couldnt start my pc as it fails to boot. So i took out the master and ask one of my friend to check on it. But after scanning for bad sector, physical scan and virus scanning , it shows that the hdd is totally fine and i could even access my data from my friend's pc.

Now the problem arises, when i put the master back to my pc (didn't put back the slave as it cant be used anymore), the pc fail to boot. After the bios page, it just show "Detecting array..." and stop there.

I've tried googling but there is no clear solution for it. Anyone here please give me a piece of advice? Thank you so much

Went to Sentosa Medical Centra on saturday and saw this project, went to their sales office too (actually they are still finalising the work there), pretty impressive with the location as it nearby to LRT and monorail station.
Also nearby to GHKL, IJN and UKM campus, easy to rent out by targetting docs , students ?

Sunway Ridzuan Condominium

My friend recently bought a unit at Sunway Ridzuan condo for RM210k, down payment was 30k so he took a loan for 180k with monthly instalment 1k and the unit was then rented out for 1.6k.

Sounds pretty good deal and after searching I found few units are for sale too, I know the condo is located nearby few colleges and thus occupied by a lot of students.

That sounds pretty good deal for me but not sure if the price will go further down amid the current economy and also whether the high rental rate is sustainable or not
