How many STPM students make it to IPTA?

Hi, I am an SPM school leaver. I am trying to figure out whether or not STPM is a viable route to enter IPTA.
I find that statistics of such things are not readily avalaible on the net. I can't figure out why. I need to compare because any wrong move now will have big consequences and not easily undone.

Does anybody know how many STPM leavers get offered places in IPTA? I know that about 50,000 students take STPM yearly though......but how many enter U , I don't know.

Who got Matrikulasi Selangor but wants Penang?

If there is anybody out there who got offered to do Matrikulasi Sains Kementerian Pelajaran Sessi 2015/6 in Kolej Matrikulasi Selangor ?

I got offered Kolej Matrikulasi Pulau Pinang but want to change to my home state Selangor, Kolej Matrikulasi Banting.

If there is any student who want to change colleges, pls contact me so that we can contact Kementerian Pelajaran to effect the change. I heard it is easier this way.
