F&B Business for someone who doesn't cook

Hi, I have interest to open F&B business in future. Honestly, I'm not good in cooking and never tried. But I knew few restaurant owners didn't have any talent in cooking, especially the celebrities, but their F&B business still survived for so many years So, here are some questions I want to ask :

1. How to hire a chef based on my restaurant menu style (eg : western/asia fusion/local )? How to know if the chef we hired really good in cooking and persistent in preparing dishes even if he/she has certificate / qualification? What if suddenly the chef took a leave ?

2. What if the chef want to resign ? The taste of the food maybe different after hiring a new chef, the regular customer may not like it. Should I keep/get the recipe from the chef instead ?

3. Anybody here own a restaurant with initial investment around rm70-80k ? Mind to share how long does it takes for ROI on estimation ?

Feeling down bcause Im short

Hi. Im 21 year-old guy. I have an issue with my height since I enter a Uni. My height is 162cm. Roughly 5'3 feet. I feel very unmotivated and a bit depression with my height.. And my bone structure also small (My hands are very small. Like a girl). Everything I want to do I always imagine that Im so small and doesn't fit into the real men social life.

I've always been the shortest guy since primary school (everytime during assembly Im the one who will be at the front bcause Im the shortest).. But during my childhood and teenage even if my friends tease me abt my height, i dont really care.. Until I was 18 y/o, I take things seriously..

Sometimes I blame my parent for not giving me enough and nutritious food eventhough they can afford but they seems to want me to eat just whatever they had for the meal time which most of the time I dont like and dont enjoy the food.

Because Im short, I also have problem with social anxiety.. When I want to go to gym, I feel like I dont fit into it. Even most of the girls at the gym are even taller than me. When I want to play sports, I feel insecure because of my height too.

I easily dont gain respect from strangers.. They treat me differently.. Most of the people I know treat me like Im younger than them.

Sometimes I just motivate myself to accept who I am and dont care about what others think abt me.. But it just words.. Deep inside, it does really matter to me..

Actually there is a lot of things came out in my mind.. Am I fit into my job later on? Can I get a girl?

Sometimes I google about Bruno Mars, Daniel Radcliffe(Harry Potter) because they are short and yet still success in their life..

But I easily unmotivated.

I know my problem is not really a big issue, I still have a lot of things to be grateful for. But I just cant understand myself why is it hard to accept the fact that Im short.

Master in Statistics (by coursework) or MBA?

Hi, Im about to finish my study at MMU.. And I was thinking to further my studies either in MBA or Master of Statistic (by coursework for sure because my degree is IT).. But I did some 'google-ing' and mostly MBA requires at least 2 years working experience in mangement/business etc... And for statistics (by coursework) for UKM and UM...

this is the requirement that i found for UKM :

Students must have the following qualifications: bachelor degree with good Cumulative Grade Pointer Average (CGPA) from a university or any higher learning institution recognised by the Senate; or degree in medical or dentistry from a university or any higher learning institution; or degree equivalent there to from any institution recognised by the Senate; or other qualifications recognised by the Senate obtained by accreditation of learning based on prior experience (APEL - Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) or by recognition of prior learning (RPL - Recognition of Prior Learning); or fulfils other conditions specified by the programme (if relevant).

and for UM :

Applicants should possess one of following: Bachelor of Science with Hons (CGPA 3.00 and above) with a strong statistical background, or bachelor's degree with a strong statistical background and with a minimum of one year of relevant work experience in the related field.

So, after I grad, with a IT degree can I further my studies in Master of Statistics?

Actually Im considering to do MBA together with CFA exam, or Master of Statistics. But since MBA need working experience, I doubt to do so.

Does physical appearence matter when apply a job?

I know my question might sound silly for some of u. But i just want to know, does in malaysia, physical appearence n height does really matter esp if want to work in office environment or need to meet client ??? I know this is not korea that really give a sh*t about physical appearence, but to be frank, i feel insecure to work in office or any big company because im just a short guy with height 160-161cm. Im planning to further my studies in International Business, but idk whether im fit to be in a position that lets say if the job require me to be good in appearence to meet clients etc? Well some people give 'respect' to tall n good physical appearance only. I used to become a joke among my friends because of my physical appearance. Even a lot of people think i still 15-16 y/o. Sometimes i feel like i just want to do IT course since in IT u mostly face the computer who doesnt give a sh*t abt ur height or ur physical.
