Hey guys,

I have Maxis on my main phone. So daily usage is not a problem. I also want to avoid turning on hotspot on my main device, to preserve battery.

My situation:

* I have a 2nd phone with 2 simcards on celcom xpax. The sim cards are just there to maintain the number.

* 1 of the sim card is attached to work whatsapp (group) which I have messages coming in periodically.

* Currently I buy the RM1 validity (each sim) every 49 days or so to extend the grace period of the sim for another 50 days.

Now I am moving around more often than being in the office, therefore I would like to get a data plan on 1 of the celcom sim card, without having to turn on the hotspot on my main phone. I don't need much data, just need to have whatsapp messages coming in. What plan would be best for me? 1 Celcom Sim has RM4 credit inside, so I don't mind porting out to another telco that has a 1 year validity + good enough data plan without too much of a cost. The other sim, I'll maintain with Celcom for now as it has about RM30+ credit which I don't want to waste by porting out.

The data plan can be as minimal as possible, just enough to receive whatsapp messages as I would still be on wifi 80% of the time.

Hi guys,

I am planning to purchase a 3rd party warranty for my car (2019 Range Rover Velar). As these cars are not known for reliability, warranty may be a good option.

So far, I've came across smart warranty, and their gold package is around RM2.8K. The only caveat is that I am not sure if the parts that are covered are parts that would often spoil, or otherwise. Please let me know if it is worth going for or not. Below is the list of parts that are covered:

DPF Delete for Diesel SUV

I purchased a 2019 Range Rover Velar directly from UK recently. Recently I had an issue with the DPF being full and the dealer took it to a service center that used Liqui Moly to clear out the DPF. About 2 weeks later, the DPF was once again full. The regen did not take place, perhaps because the sensor is no longer working and the replacement is on the way.

The hassle is, 95% of my drive is within city, and with the traffic, would not be enough to burn off the soot in the DPF. I am considering doing a DPF delete. What do you guys think? Also, if you have any recommendations, please let me know.

The guys that I've spoken to recommending doing a DPF delete and a stage 2 tuning. The DPF delete is not so costly, but the stage 2 tuning is quite costly.

Question about using Diesel

I purchased a 2019 Range Rover Velar directly from UK recently. Which is the best diesel for me to use? Do I use the blue colored pump (Diesel Euro 5 B7 @ RM2.35) or the black colored pump (Diesel Euro 5 B10 @ RM2.15). Which would be the best one for the engine, in terms of keeping the engine healthy long term)

Building a non-gaming PC

Hey guys. I've been out of the PC building scene for awhile. Still unsure if a ryzen / intel build will suit my needs:

Budget: Up to RM5000

Requirements:

1) Non Gaming, so no GPU is necessary. Perfectly okay to run on iGPU.
2) No need for Monitor, Keyboard Mouse.
3) No need for SSD / HDD
4) A good PCIE WiFi card.

Purpose:

1) My job involves opening a lot of tabs and keeping them on Chrome. This eats up a lot of RAM, so 32GB RAM is what I would be aiming for.
2) My job involves running multiple VMs as well, therefore the CPU should be capable enough to run multiple VMs.

What build would you recommend that would suit my needs?
