USB 3.0 port is not working

Hello, this is my first time posting on this forum and i would like some help from you guys. I have been using my laptop, Acer ASPIRE 4752 for about 2 years and it has been working like a charm, except that its USB 3.0 port is malfunctioning. The weird thing is, the port does have power since i can charge my cellphone using a USB cable slotted to the port, but it cannot read my harddisk. My harddisk can be read using my other 2 USB 2.0 ports. It does not even exist in my device manager.

As i checked in the Control Panel, the 'Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver' has already been installed

I have also enabled the process for startup

I have tried restoring my laptop to factory setting and it obviously is not working. please help!
