Has someone use or seen roller skate as the first and last mile commute to work? Given that the area is accessible and not raining.

Or you saw other interesting way to commute (eg, Boosted board, skateboard, e-scooter etc)?

Relevant to buy one year old phone?

I was deciding between Note10+ 4G (2nd hand, 12+256) 2.5k launched in August 2019 and oneplus 8t (china set, 8+128) at 2.4k launched in Oct 2020.

Myvi aircon not cold when idling

My 1st gen myvi aircond when start blowing hot air when the car is idling, then the engine temperature will start go up and sometimes it rises very fast. After I pressed the pedal, the aircon starts to become cold again. I checked the radiator fan and it's still running. So I am not sure what's the problem.

Can any sifu please enlighten me on what's the cause? I want to do self check first because dont want to get cut throat.

Thigh contusion without bruises (concern)

hi, everyone it's been 2 weeks since i had this thigh contusion. I had it when i play basketball and someone's knee drove into my thigh. I was okay at that moment and did not experience and pop sensation as far as I can remember.

So, after 2 weeks, my thigh muscle is still quite stiff and my leg could not bend more than 100 degrees (sitting position is the max range of motion). When I tried to bend it further, I can feel the thigh muscles pulling and sore sensation in the knee.

My question is: Is there a possibility of damaged tendon (ex: acl, meniscus)? What is the usual healing time for thigh contusion?

screen got 2 different brightness and make the words blurred in the darker area . horizontal line at above and below of the screen. Is it time for me to change the screen? and how much would it cost?

How to recover from sprain?

I sprained my ankle before the week of Chinese New Year. I played basketball. As I land, I stepped on my friend's feet and caused my ankle to roll over. i heard a crack sound and i did x-ray, there is no fracture. It's really pain in the ass for not going anywhere because of this injury

It's already 3 months after the injury. I have a few questions to ask about the injury. btw I had a high ankle sprain.

1. Is it normal that my sprained ankle to be abit swollen although the injury is already been 3 months?

2. What is the recover period for a high ankle sprained?

3. When can I resumed to play sports?

4. Any exercises recommended for me to strengthen my ankles?

5. Is it urut or "tit da" a false way to heal sprains?

6. Can you share your experience on ankle sprains and how do you make it recover?

Argument with a friend

I tweeted about the mathematics genius who studied at London. I said that he shouldn't get the second chance and MARA shouldn't waste more money on him whereas they should spend on those people who are underprivileged. After all these, my friend reply my tweet and said that "sometimes, if you don't see the money coming out of your pocket, you gotta learn to ignore it. I don't see it affect my future"

I find him very ignorant. Do you think people nowadays tend to get ignorant on current affairs? Are they avoiding these problems?

I do not want to confront with him. What should I do?

Best uni for chemical engineering

I just got my SPM result. I was thinking to continue my study in foundation in engineering. I would like to ask which uni is better in engineering courses? I was thinking about Chemical & Environmental Engineering.

How will I know if FDN or STPM is right for me?

Hi guys, I am currently waiting for my SPM result. I would like to ask some of the questions about foundation and STPM.

P/S: I am already picked the course that I wanted which is Chemical and environmental engineering. I am also okay with both of the system.

1) Which course prepares me the most for university life or future life?

2) Knowledge wise which is more in-depth?

3) Foundation is fast but expensive while STPM is slower but inexpensive. Do you think time matters when it comes to seeking knowledge? Does it mean that we are using money to buy time for foundation?

4) Do you consider STPM risky because it takes longer time?

My parents allow me to study in foundation but I wanted to help them to save money. The reason I didnt make up my mind because I am not sure which suits me better. I am also unsure with STPM's system. Please help me out!! I'm in huge dilemma. Thanks in advance.
