Groupy v1.1 update with new saved groups

Groupy works on Windows 7, 8, and 10. Once installed, creating groups is simple: drag a window to another window and combine them into a single window, with tabs showing in the title bar. To ungroup, simply drag the tab off the group.

New in v1.1: Save existing groups and launch them at a later time, contained and ready to go. You can even save groups associated with your active files thanks to new support for Microsoft Office! You can also enable a “new tab” button for groups that will let you create a new instance of your graphics program, Word document, and more with the simple click of a button.

Fences 1.0 has been released! Fences works by allowing users to “draw” labeled shaded areas on the desktop, which become movable & resizable containers for any desktop icon. These groups can help bring organization and consistency to your computer's desktop, solving the "constant mess" problem that has plagued the desktop since its inception. Fences also helps users finally appreciate the wallpaper hiding behind a cluttered desktop.

In addition to its organizing features, Fences offers a quick-hide feature: Double click your desktop, and all your icons will fade out. Double click again, and they'll return.

World of Warcraft Desktop Update

Stardock has released an update to the official World of Warcraft Desktop. The suite, created by Stardock Design with both original artwork and in-game interface graphics from Blizzard's popular massively multiplayer game. The World of Warcraft Desktop uses the MyColors theme manager to apply the WoW suite, without the installation of any other applications.

The WoW MyColors suite includes an updated visual style, with support for both Windows XP and Vista. Icons are included for the XP version, and some slick WoW wallpapers are also included.

WindowBlinds 6.4 was released recently, and this SkinStudio release will allow skinners and theme artists to take advantage of the new features in that release.

GUI Champs 2008 - Most Usable/Most Original Dream Voting Begins!

The time has come, and the first voting event for the 2008 GUI Champs is here! Voting for Most Usable and Most Original Animated Wallpaper (.dreams) are now ready. We had 32 .dreams submitted and the judges have narrowed it down to 10 finalists which are now voted upon by the public.

Voting this year works a little bit differently than in years past. This year you have three points to distribute in any combination you like to the finalist skins. You must distribute all three points before submitting your vote however.

Well folks, now is the time to start the real countdown to this years GUI Championships, the largest GUI customization competition around, and to give some more details about the competition. Let me first start off by thanking all our sponsors for this years event, I have no doubt this will be the best one yet!

The GUI Champs ‘08 will officially start on Monday, October 13th.

The judging and more detailed schedule will be posted soon, but this is when we will start accepting entries.

MyColors 2.5 releaed - Free 'Think Green' Theme Included

MyColors changes your Windows visual style, icons, wallpaper, and even adds gadgets to your desktop. These gadgets can range from media players to weather forecast gadgets depending on the theme. It doesn't modify any system files and enables users to easily switch between themes and back to default Windows with just a few clicks.
