Now I wish to salvage it due to the potential of needing 2nd machine.<br /><br />As far as I researched, 3 beeps indicating bad RAM. But since MBA RAM is soldered on, I believe there&#39;s no way it can be easily fixed right?<br /><br />So maybe two options:<br /><br />1. Send for repair at mac specialist, maybe solder new RAM or even upgrade it (it was 4GB).<br />2. Replace logic board entirely that salvaged from other used machine.<br /><br />Anyone can shed some light on what&#39;s the best option, and where is a good place to send to?
