Hi everyone, I'm currently looking for a Golden Retriever puppy. It would be nice if I can find one for adoption but I would prefer if it's a puppy. I can pay upwards of 5k, if necessary. Only looking for ethical and reputable breeders. If anyone has them, please contact me at my email address - tylerting81@gmail.com

Thanks, Lowyat.

ACCA or ICAEW

Hi all, I am currently doing my A levels (completing in May) and have last minute decided to do either ACCA or ICAEW. Alright, I know, both are of the prestige and ICAEW doesn't have an edge over the other. However, I am offered a full Scholarship for ICAEW in Sunway. On the other hand, I am offered several thousands off for my ACCA course. Which one would you choose? Specifically, my questions are
i) I have asked the guy why is ICAEW tougher, he said its because its difficult to balance my work and studies. Is this the case? How about the exam, are both of them similar?
ii) He told me that ICAEW has 4 attempts for the first 12 papers but so far, none of them have failed more than 4 attempts and everyone passed every single paper. Is this legit? He also reaffirmed that in the end, everyone would get the ICAEW cert and be certified accountant. Is it true? I do not wish to risk wasting the few years of my life and ended up with nothing...
iii) How's the schedule like? I also asked in tailors, theres roughly 2 of 3 hours of classes per week. and as for Sunday, generally everyday, 8-12pm (applies for both acca and icaew). This seems a lot of time to do self study if I am doing ACCA, am I right?

Can anyone enlighten me on this? Also, please do share your experience, be it ACCA or ICAEW

Thanks lowest

WTB HOT TOYS COLLECTION

Hi guys, I am interested to buy all your collections as I am wanting to decorate my house with these badass toys. I am only open to hot toys and lego only, strictly those only!!!! I have got a comfortable budget, around 10k, but any collections which worth more than this is also alright, even if its uptown RM50k, which I might consider if I happen to like it a lot so I am open to any offers. For lego, I don't want just figurines, I want like figurines and sets with the same theme, not some random stuff with Simpsons and Star Wars, you get me yeah? And for hot toys, I would love iron man, bat mobile and some cool characters. I would prefer a larger scale one, making it look damn cool. I am drooling while typing this out hahaha. When offering me, send me your total list of the items you want to sell and quote your best price and we will continue from there. Thanks and have a great day

Hey, on Mudah, I saw across some really sick notebook at really sick price
http://www.mudah.my/ROG+G752VS+Gaming-50742109.htm
http://www.mudah.my/Msi+gt72+2qe+dominator+pro-50731193.htm
http://www.mudah.my/MSI+GT72+Dominator-50943690.htm
http://www.mudah.my/Alienware+18+Gaming-50974828.htm

All of them have location at Kedah, Sabah, which is very far from me and I dont think I can cod there. If cod there and its a scam, gg, wasted time and petrol

For the RM2850 Alienware 18, I texted him and the price is like super fake, unbelievable. I messaged him and he gave me his location as Gua Musang, Kelantan(4 hours drive). I wanted to pos and asked him to pos, just want to test him and he says that he can pos today, but I dont dare to give money. Then I say maybe can cod, and he only give me `1 date, 16-1-2017, which is a weekday. He says that he is only free on weekdays when I asked him why is it weekday and weekend. Then I asked about other dates and he said only that date. He also got that laptop from the company and all these bs. Are you guys 100% sure he is a scammer? The price is just way too tempting. If I think if its real then I wasted a good darn deal. Any opinions?

Study High School In USA

Hey, any lowyat forumer studies high school in USA, in the sense of Form 1-5? If yes, can you share your experience there... USA have been my dream country since young, my parents were also graduated there and also love that place. My Uncle and Aunt lives in Miami, and I am planning to study over there. Never been to that place, I want to know that environment there a bit. Malaysia a bit too boring for me. No fun, like literally. USA have so much places to go, friends over there are cooler, Malaysia school trip to chocolate factory lol. My cousin is living their hearts out over there. There is also ways to cover up some cost over there, schools encourage students to work. Their pay better than Malaysia if convert. 1 week maximum 20 hours, 1 hours 15USD. Thats a freaking RM60! Compare with MCD or starbucks, less than RM!0. My aunt was shocked that an hour pay also can't cover a meal cost. I also can have free accomodation over there... For now, I am studying in an international school, and the price difference in school fees is 3/4 times, but daily living cost and travelling cost are not necessary. I can work over there. We don't need tuition over there, tuition are not popular there, self study is the key. So accumulated almost the cost already. I want to know if anyone have experience studying in USA for high school(if possible), or your university life.

P.S. Please don't destroy this thread

Nothing nice to say, keep it to yourself, like seriously, its just super annoying. Cheers maties

Finding Companion For US Trip

Hey, I am a kid, like 15 y/o and wants to travel to USA. I originally planned to travel with my family, but my parents are going to another trip in between, so it wouldnt be that cool. I have younger siblings, and they certainly can't guide me lol. I am also going to have a family trip to Japan with my family(not my dad, can't take so much day off lol). My mum wants me to be independent, but not completely off guard. So, I decided to try my luck here. The cost won't be so hefty as it sounds, I have grandaunties in Seattle, still strong, free accomodation there, lots of nice places there, Chinatown is one of them. Also a good place to take a rest when going to Vancouver. I also got a relative in Miami, free accomodation, maybe meals too, want to see my cousins. Can stroll along the beach

Found cheap tickets on the selected date:
Most probably fly to Seattle, maybe about RM3k, got relatives there, so the car rental is free

For the accomodation, we will most probably stay in airbnb, if many are going to go or hostel, budget hostel. Can't stay in dormitory coz underage

Then, we must go to Universal Studio, Disneyland(optional, expensive tickets but lame rides). Take million selfies.

Haven't planned the itinerary, we plan together and agree with each other. Seattle and Miami is a must tho. We can borrow our relative's car. We can rent a car from JFK airport and travel all the way, stop by in interesting sights and put down the car in Seattle. Then put down the car in Seattle. We will do some cooking and live more authentic over there. Indulge in their culture, save money and the trip will be much more memorable.

Anyone interested, please pm me Note: I am not like a tour guide or any sort, I am just trying to find a travel buddy. The more the amount of people, the cheaper and more fun it will be.

Estimated cost: 1 night room in New York, in kinda the centre of Brooklyn cost around RM200 for 2. So for 1 person, the accomodation per night is only RM100, really cheap. Total there is 53 nights, but we will stay around 8 nights, 6 nights in Miami, driving there, reaching there at night, so we can actually enjoy there for 4 nights, the last day we will drive to another state. So, we have 45 nights, which is equivalent to RM4500. For the car petrol, we might need to fork out RM1500 each, very unsure about this. Food depends on personal. I am gonna cook so yeah

We could also try to couchsurf, free accomodation, if you want to.

If we are frugal, couchsurf, cook, go free landmarks, the trip will cost around RM8k. 3k on flights, 3.5k on petrol, 1.5k on food and seeing landmarks is already really frugal and cheapskate. A more comfortable budget would be RM9k, but that would also need some savings, and we can't stay on airbnb, maybe couchsurf. Budget travellers, join me up!
