Naza Suria - starter problem

Hi

A Pakistani neighbor left me this car when he had to leave Malaysia and not sure when he will be back.

The car has a starter problem right now. I first thought it was a battery issue but jump starting it didn't work. The mechanic who came from a shop nearby, decided to instead knock the starter of the car for a few minutes with a spanner and the car started up. But switching off the engine will return back to the problem, and the starter required knocking again for the engine to restart.

The mechanic quoted me RM330 for a recon starter including workmanship so was wondering if this is a good price or can get cheaper? I don't even mind if its a 2nd hand starter.

Anyone has recommendations for mechanics experienced with this model around Shah Alam area?

Refinance Land Property

Hi All

Would like to get some advice based on the following points

- I have a 6 acre land in Muar under my name alone
- The land is currently with kelapa sawit planted of about 5yrs old and already bearing fruit
- I checked with the Land Evaluation Dept in Muar, the whole 6 acres is at a market value of approx RM320k
- It is a Malay reserve land, however an officer at Muar land office informed me, if I have a non-Malay buyer, I can convert the land and the value can double

- Selling the land is an option, but I'd like to keep it for now at the moment, due to some underlying issues which I can't explain here

- I am currently in some financial difficulty which includes my name as being blacklisted by CCRIS and CTOS
- However, I was thinking if I can approach a bank, obtain a loan by putting in this land that I mentioned above, as collateral
- My total debts (which is causing the blacklist) is roughly around RM50k and I would also like an additional RM50k in cash, making the total loan/refinance of the land to just be RM100k (approx 65% lesser than the market value)
- And I would like to have a special arrangement with the bank, to issue directly all the payment to the financial institutions that I owe the RM50k amount, without having it go through me, which indirectly should also automatically clear me of all the CCRIS and CTOS blacklists

I understand the last point may be a bit tricky, but would like to know if all of the above is possible.

Need to dispose Kancil 850 (A)

Hi All

I have a first generation Kancil 850 (A) which has been stuck at the workshop in Dengkil, Selangor for 1-2 years now. First started with the engine needing overhaul but I never got round to do it, and the car has been collecting dust there. Last I called the workshop, the guy said its in pretty bad shape.

My question is, I don't want to repair it anymore, and just want to sell it off to any "kedai potong" or workshop who wants to use it for spare parts (the current workshop doesn't want it), so if anyone can share any information on how best I can dispose this Kancil, would be great. I'm willing to let it go for maybe 3k (more or less) - still got the grant (pink slip) with me

TNB Yellow Letter (first warning)

Got a yellow letter from TNB last Thursday 12th Sept but the letter gave a deadline of 10th Sept to settle the arrears.

Anyway, does anyone know how many days do they normally take to come with the red letter (i think they perform disconnection at this point) as my payday is only this coming Friday 20th Sept and plan to pay then

Can i still wait it out or try to borrow first and pay tomorrow?
