Want to access mysql database sql in ms access

I want to access my database located at my shared hosting server

normally i access through phpmyadmin, which is sufficient is i just need to read/write a small portion of the database. but now going to create apps that need read/write access to the database.

ask the webhosting support team, and they say for security season, such act are not allowed.
- no mysql/odbc connector
- no putty

need suggestion on alternative way to access my database.

File dissapear from desktop

It goes like this:
- there a lots of file in desktop. our friend open one of the zip file with winrar (evaluation version)
- when winrar opened, he saw a lot of files in it. he tought that these files are in the zip folder also.
- this is where the problem start. he delete all other file in it, which is actually files in the desktop.
- now all these other file have gone. not even in the recycle bin. using getbackdata for ntfs also cannot find!

There are some weird issue:
- i browse through recent document and saw the deleted files .lnk file.
- normally you click and it will redirect to the file, right?
- but now it say the link need to be fix and it's pointing to the different files.
- for example let say the link say abcd.doc, open and the link open 1234.doc instead.

This is the first time people ask me to find deleted file, and cannot found. Last time I can even find deleted "prawn"

Need help with my 7300GT (AGP)

I just got myself Geforce 7300GT (AGP). Installed and can't get it running.

When entering 3D mode, its either shut my pc down or became like this picture below. Notice that there is no nVidia spinning logo inside.

Also when I enter dxdiag I can't see the white box in the direct draw test and the cube in direct3d test.

I'm suspecting my PSU can't cope with this card, but before I buy new PSU I need to make sure. Any forumer with the same/similar problem?
Currently my PSU is iCute 450w. It says 15A on +12v@Rail1 and 17A on +12v@Rail2.

If I need to buy new PSU what is the recommended PSU available in market now?
