changing field

Have u ever feel that once you finished studying and decided you can't just work in that field. It's not in your soul. But you afraid of what people hv to say. 'Wasting time' 'why study but dont practise im real life'. I'm thinking of MT as alternative to venture into another field but i've been waiting for ages (4 months).MT that i applied:DHL, alliance bank(start in april hv to wait more). Anyone knows abt AEON MT?

one month salary in lieu of notice

I quit my job for 24 hours notice. In my offer letter it stated one month notice or 1 month salary in lieu of notice. (Hr said supposed one week only but better one month) The problem is, it also stated i am entitled to have 7 days annual leave but the hr said i cannot apply until finish probation. One sided agreement?

Today i received their letter saying that I need to pay one month notice in 7 days. Crazy? In offer letter never said have to pay within 7 days.

What should I do?
1)call the hr to consider monthly pay
2)ignore
3)pay lump sum within 7 days

Hi i am a graduate in quantity surveying but Im looking for a job in banks. Bcs qs can also work in banks (property division) but its quite hard bcs i got no experience. Help
