Needed recommendation for purchasing NEW laptop

Purpose : 1) Multimedia purpose - watching videos, light PS & video editing, constantly online, slight multi tasking.
2) No gaming intention

Budget : less than 2k with good after sales service

Preference : 1) 14 or 15.6 inches screen
2) DVD Optical Drive (dont need BLUE RAY ) - a must
3) Large Storage ( at least 500 GB )
4) Comes with Window 8.1 OS
5) Long Battery Life ( 6 cells or more if possible )
6) Thin and Lightweight, in other words NOT BULKY ( if possible, height less than 2.5 cm )
7) Strong wifi card

Brand : No preference
