[WTS/Bulk] MARANTZ CD Player & Amp

Hi all,
Welcome to my new Marantz thread featuring award wining audio equipments by Marantz.

THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND THE MARANTZ UNIQUE SOUND.
Music is part of our everyday lives. Even in the world of today where changing times in which audio meets vision, music is the defining ingredient. It brings emotion to vision and puts the passion into our experiences. For us, the realistic reproduction of music is the essential premise.

We know that true hi-fi is about being able to reproduce the magic of a performance. It’s about experiencing music just as the artist intended, even in the cinema. It is music that delivers the ecstasy and agony of a film’s story. To Marantz, perfect specifications and technical accomplishment count for nothing unless a product can unlock the power, the excitement and the emotion of music.

Our heritage of technical excellence means we can create components with the ability to communicate the scale, timbre, pitch and dynamics in fact, the very essence of a recording.

Music is enchanting, and we strive to ensure that the carrier of the music looks and feels as good as it sounds. Every component we produce is technically and cosmetically designed to complement the lifestyle of the listener.

We pride ourselves on applying these principles to all of our products. Each and every one of our home entertainment components is capable of reproducing the purest, most realistic music in your home.

We know that true hi-fi is about being able to reproduce the magic of a performance - it’s about experiencing music just as the artist intended.

BECAUSE MUSIC MATTERS

Which System for B&W 685

Hi guys,
I'm planing to have my first hi-fi system. Setup will be used in a room 3m x 5m
My music preference and genre is purely on jazz & audiophile vocals.
Preferred sound - warm, dislike bright and high keys, and some low note bass

So here are my shortlisted items and i'm having problem for which to pair with:
Speakers: B&W 685, Mourdant Short Mezzo2
Amp: NAD C355BEE, Marantz PM7003, Roksan Kandy Mk L.III,
CD Player: NAD C542, Marantz CD7003, Roksan Kandy CD MKIII

Auditioned systems:
1. Marantz cd7003 & PM7003 + M. short Mezzo2
Results: Very transparent, clean, too bright for me, uncomfortable for long listening periods due to the highs

2. NAD C355BEE + C542 + DALI Ikon 2
Results: Nice warm and mellow tone. Sound staging a little poor (possibly due to their placement). DALI Ikon2 speakers are rather big and not attractive.

3. Cyrus CD8 SE + Cyrus Amp 8vs2 + Cyrus Mono X Power Amp + PSX-R + B&W 685
Results: Very good sound staging, warm, well controlled sound, brilliant sound, highs were nice and rounded. Too expensive system for me

Self proposed setup:
1. NAD 355BEE + NAD C542 + B&W 685
2. Marantz CD7003 & PM7003 + B&W 685
3. Roskan Kandy Amp + CDp + B&W 685

Need to know your opinions or new suggestions.

Budget = +/- RM5k
