Details of the complaint :

Hi guys, I need some advice. On Nov 4, 2014, I sold a Xiaomi Mi4 to lionmino via COD.
I met him at Giant MRR2, he inspected the phone, checked all documentation tally, and paid me, everything ok.

About a week later, he messages me saying that the phone is fake. I am shocked, as I used the phone before selling it to him, and as far as I know it is genuine.
I Google on the internet for methods to verify a Mi4, and send the links to him. I ask for test results.

He replies that he has to travel for work, and will test the phone when he is back, in a week.
I reply ok, and wait.

2 weeks pass (3 weeks since transaction, 1 week ago) before he messages me again.
He doesn't pass me any of the test results I asked for, but says the phone is 'guarantee fake'.
He wants me to meet him, but this time I am overseas for work.

Now I have just returned, and want to settle this.

But, I need some advice:

1. What is my liability here? I sold the item via COD, the buyer inspected the item extensively, and everything was ok.
How do I know that he didn't swap the item? Especially after he's been gone a month?

2. Should I meet up with him? He has been pretty rude on the phone, threatening to make police report etc if I don't refund him.
I am worried for my safety, especially if I'm carrying cash to refund him.
