Wanna ask, lets say i have the following statement: Select * from company where companyID in (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,.............................)

My question is, is there a limit to the number of companyIDs I can query? Let's say i have 20,000 company IDs, theoretically can I list down all 20,000 and query the select statement?

How to add some functions in a shopping cart

Hi, I have two questions on how to improve my shopping cart application.

Question 1:
How do I update my shopping cart to show the current items in stock. For example if the stocks left is 5 and a user wants to book 6, there should be an error message, how do I do that?

Question 2:
Is there ant way I can sync my shopping cart's time and date with my PC's time and date? The reason is I am doing like a ticket reservation system, and I would like to have the function of a user who books a ticket, but 3 days later if he has not confirm the transaction, the order will be annulled and the order goes back into the system. Is there any way I can do that?

Oh yeah, for the shopping cart I did not use a database, all the products(i.e. tickets) I just hard code it into the coding, so I do not deal with databases in this system. IS there a way to add codings for the above two functions?
