How to Improve Ride Comfort

Changed to 17" rim last year, but realize I really miss the original ride comfort of my car.

A friend of mine gave a suggestion to change to adjustable suspension to improve comfort while keeping the 17" rim.

However, stock suspension was already at 'comfort' setting. Therefore my question is, will buying an adjustable suspension improve my ride's comfort after changing the rim size?

Thanks.

p.s. Plan to keep this 17" rim/oso this car so downgrading back to 15"/buy a new car are not an option
p.s.s. Improve comfort to counter potholes/uneven road, Malaysian country side road...smoother journey to balik kampung
The key to learning something quickly

What is the key to learn anything fast? Firstly, I will not tell people that the key to learning something fast is to focus, learn speed reading, have a good work ethics, etc. That could be a part of the process and yet different type of learning may require different things. What I want to discuss with y'all right now is the key. If I tell to 100 people that the key to learning something is to study a lot, will they all do it? Of course not, because that is not the key. We heard the advice everyday in school and not all people pay attention to the advice.

A key is supposed to open the door for us! It should be obvious. What makes us do what we want to do? If we do Activity X, why would we want to do that? How can we make ourselves do Activity A? And the key is in the specific way of thinking!

Inside of us, we have developed a scale where there's an Activity X at one end and there are other activities at the other end. Which activity is more appealing to us? If we think that activity X is more appealing right now, we will do activity X, and the scale is tilted towards activity X.

It's all in our mind. What I am saying is that when we want to learn something, we must convince ourselves that the activity (learning) worth more than anything else that we can do at that time (we badly need to do that activity just like we need air to breathe!). In other words, we must fully tilt the scale towards the activity that we want to do. Otherwise we won't do it. Line up the advantages if we have to, think of why it is important to us, use the power of our imagination, in short we must convince ourselves. When we are not fully 'sold', we will become sceptical if the activity is going to give us something and it will not take a lot of obstacles before the scale got tilted and we decide to quit when things get difficult.

Choose an activity at a time. One step at a time! Don't be greedy!

Selfishness and Greed

Greed: Intense and selfish desire for something, esp. wealth, power, or food
Selfishness : stinginess resulting from a concern for your own welfare and a disregard of others.

E.x.
1. One can live with minimum wealth, power, and clothing.
2. One can also live selflessly by not having concern of oneself.

Those are the extremes.

Since this is an ambiguous issue, the real answer to it is not as simple as 0 and 1. We need to handle the concept of partial truth, where the truth value may range between completely true and completely false.

Back to the question, how does one achieve the sweet spot of greed and selfishness in order to achieve a fulfilling life? Is it wise for someone to label others as selfish or greed when most people may have different measures for selfishness and greediness?

tags: philosophy, sociology

I'm on the road of getting my first Mac. I read on the internet that it's difficult to set up 3 different OSs on a Mac Book Air. The uncertainty factor of whether it will work or not is a major turn down for me to get a Mac Book Air.

The main purposes of the laptop would be engineering, programming plus sound and photo editing.

What do you guys (Mac Geeks) think about my situation?

Workout for busy college schedule

Hi all.

I want to have body building as a lifestyle but not knowing really well about it has made me hesitate to body build. My goals are:

1) To become larger than what I am now so that it will be easier to find clothes that fit (I have an ectomorph build with a small frame body)
2) Gain strength to play soccer so that for example I can shoot from a longer distance, better aggression
3) To be healthier, definitely not a slouch

The obstacle is busy college schedule that I think I can workout for at most 3 times per week + 1 soccer game per week

Since I believe that for most of you guys here whom bodybuilding knowledge has became a second nature to you guys, I want to ask for recommendation of what exercises I need to do to achieve my goals. I can look for them by myself but I'm afraid I will get lost in the process. I'm looking for sustainability in a workout plan, which means that I want to stick with the workout plan for a long time.

I would also greatly appreciate it if you guys can recommend what supplement to take. I'm looking for supplements that doesn't give strain to kidneys or any other bad side effects.

Thanks in advance.

mysql? help..

*** SETUP INSTRUCTIONS ***

1. Upload the plugin file (related-posts.php) to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory and activate it.

2.	a) You will notice a "Related Posts Options" tab under your "Plugins" tab. If this is your first time installing this plugin please click the link for index table setup script at the bottom of the options page. You only need to do this once when you install the plugin for the first time. If automatic setup fails (can happen and may not even be my fault) read on ...

b) If automatic creation of a full text index fails. You will have to set it up manually. Don't worry it's not hard. Just open your database in phpMySQLadmin and run the following command (cut & paste):

ALTER TABLE `wp_posts` ADD FULLTEXT `post_related` (
`post_name` ,
`post_content`

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
this is the thing that i have to do when i try to install the wordpress- related entries plugin. i dont understand the bold phrases. how to do that. by the way, this is my phpmyadmin screenshot: i cant find any link to "run the command"
