Forwarding business potential

Hi all gurus,

As we all know there are quite a few of these forwarding companies out there based in US/UK but none is heavily advertised in Malaysia (I came across HopShopGo about 5 years ago but still a lot of people around me don't know about this kind of service).

My question is, does this business still have great potential if we setup one in US/UK and advertise more across Malaysia? I know it's not simple as it involves warehousing, free trade zone and etc. However, a fruitful finding always starts with a challenging discussion, right?

Me and my partner have about RM1mill to invest into this business if it's really potential and we are looking for experts out there to join us. Let's start the discussion!

To the moderator: I'm not sure if this topic is more suitable in Garage Sales Resource Center board so I duplicated one there. Feel free to delete whichever not relevant. Thanks!

What would you do with RM400k or 1mill?

Hello all,

What would you do if you have RM400k in hand and would like to have stable monthly return? I'm from website development background and would like to give myself a try on starting up my own business before reaching 40. I can be involved full time in operation as well as investment for any potential business ideas/concepts.

Thanks.

p/s sorry i left this out, the capital can be stretched to RM1mill if my partner is willing to join in, provided the business is really profitable.
