Hi guys, this must be a stupid question but my flash drop on the floor the other day and the red eye glass cracked and basically destroyed. The LED is still working. Picture is as below. I'm just wondering can that part be fixed?

Hi, I'm recently interested in getting an LED tv but sadly i'm not very good in TV so would like to ask everyone's opinion here. What brand doesnt really matter to me but budget is around RM2500. Slightly more would be fine also. Can u guys recommend me any models? Main usage is for movies. Thanks

Hi sifus,

I recently purchased a wireless repeater Aztech WL559E to extend my wireless because the modem/router is downstairs and upstairs is not getting good coverage.

When the repeater is turned on, all devices such as phones, laptops, tablets can be connected to the network with no issues except a desktop downstairs. Everytime i switch on the repeater, my desktop doesn't have internet access. It's connected to the network, but it will be label unidentified network and have no internet access. A message pops up everytime saying i have an IP conflict.

Once i switch it off, internet comes back instantly. Been trying for days but still cannot get to the root of the problem. The desktop downstairs is using a TP-Link external wireless adaptor. Is that incompatible or something with the wireless repeater?

External wifi USB adaptor for mac mini

My room is quite far from the router and i've been getting very slow speeds on my internet. When i'm next to the router i get very good speed meaning its not my internet its more on the distance and signal i'm getting. So i thought of buying an external wifi USB adaptor or some sort of range booster.

My question is does it really help? And if it does is there any model can be recommended?

How to determine whether HDD is really dead?

Hi, recently i found my old WD Book 1TB. It was not working a while ago and now i suddenly have the time to check it out. I remove the casing and took out the 3.5" HDD and installed it into my pc downstairs.

But, windows doesnt recognise it. Doesn't turn up in my computer or device manager. Is my HDD really dead?

If its dead can i recover some data inside? I think i have some old photos inside.

Hey, I've been using a normal tv for years. And now plan to finally buy those newer tv but have no idea what to buy. LED? LCD? Plasma? I'm confused.

Can any of you recommend good tv for me?

I prefer a big one like 55" but size is not a must priority. I'm a big fan of HD movies on the computer so quality of the picture must be good for me. 3D is also in consideration.

LAN gaming tourney setup

My uni is hosting an e-games competition that incudes dota, CS etc.

We have 3 switchers and 30 LAN cables. My question is do we need any additional hardware in our setup? Or we just plug everything and we're good to go. We want to play a smooth and lag-less game.

Hey, just a quick question. I recently applied a new internet and they gave me a ZTE modem+router with WiFi. But i already have a very good D-Link router that I wanna use instead. Is it possible to still pair them up? Anyway i tried and i failed. I even disable the wifi on the ZTE modem and i still can't get it to work. Anyone can give any advice? Thx

Hey i just got a LCD TV from my cousin cause he's getting a new one. I tried connecting to the PC using the VGA to VGA cable that is provided. But it keeps showing 'check signal cable'. I tried googling but no luck. Anyway, i'm using an ATI Radeon 4870 graphics card..

Hey i'm in russia..i'm using a D-Link DIR-320 router. My apartment have 7 people staying and i feel that my router can't support so many people. My ISP is quite fast..definitely not like streamyx..Its just we play flying spaghetti monster and we lag..and no one is downloading..

Heck when we plan LAN among ourselves also we spike or lag during game..

My question is my router not sufficient to support?
If so what type of router i should get?Don't think abt the price and pls suggest a router thx..

The router i bought D-Link DIR-320 has a USB port and i can attach a printer to it.

I'm am trying to setup a HP Deskjet 4200 series printer on a mac os x.
It works fine on all my windows platform in my house. I have the printer drivers installed in my mac. But i can't seem to add the printer in system preferences..
If i run printer setup in http:// 192.168.0.1 on my mac at they give me a printer config. But its an exe file and not compatible with my mac. All i have to do on windows com is run that exe and my printer is up and ready. But can't for my mac...

Can anyone help me?

I can't seem to find a way on mac to just cancel out one audio and hear it in cantonese.
The file format is usually rm or rmvb..
