My own experience:

Sometime around March, I was browsing mudah.my to purchase a sony xperia ZL phone and I saw someone called I bought an Sony Xperia ZL from a Stephen anak Anthony ( I forgot his first name ) in Mudah.my which he advertise with the price of Rm700. I asked for COD, he mentioned that he staying at Bintulu. When I ask him to COD with my friend at Bintulu town, he said he works as a immigration officer at somewhere far from town called Bintulu Port immigration office at Tanjung Kidurong. So I asked him to COD with my uncle instead, then he said that he on the way to go back home which is nearby. Because my buying power was so high at that time, I told him if like that then just post the phone to me and I will bank in to him. After I bank in to him, he told me he at Post office and after he done, he gave me a tracking number.
After a while, I tried to check the tracking number and noticed that it is not valid. I have a bad feeling, so I use my other number to message him if the phone is still available. He replied that the phone is still available. That is when I know that I was scammed. I message him with my original number and told him if he already posted the phone then why you said the phone is available. After that he no longer reply me and off his phone ever since.
I have made a police report against him.

I know that I'm not going to get my money back. I tried google his full name ( including first name that i forgotten ) but couldn't find any information of him.

As a sarawakian myself, I have give it a thought on the first name might be fake. So I removed his first name and found out that he have scammed a lot people.

But the best part is I got my money back from him.

How?

I read all the comments, and noticed his full name is Stephen anak Anthony Abong, where he stay, IC number and alot more.
So I google his dad instead. Anthony anak Abong. I found his dad information at http://www.nativecustoms.sarawak.gov.my/mo...print.php?id=71 so I called his dad's office and asked if Stephen is his son. When he said yes I told him that Stephen scammed my money so I asked his dad to bank in the money back, and I got his info all that as well as my police report.

After that, Stephen bank in my money to my account back .

I hope whoever scammed by Stephen can try to call his dad and ask for refund.
