Suggestion for Unifi Router 50Mbps Plan

Hi everyone,

As mention in the title, I am currently using Unifi Advance 50 Mbps plan (not sure if will upgrade in the foreseeable future) for quite some time but have been having bottleneck issues with the router provided by TM.

I would like some suggestion of replacement router. The modem provided by TM is not replaceable or there is no need to do so right?

The issue here is I have no problem with wired connection as i can get around 48 Mbps speed (base on the speedtest) but I can only get around 10 - 15 Mbps when i use wifi connection. There are also certain areas in my house that i couldn't get any connection.

House size is around 40 feet x 50 feet (120m x 150m) and 3 storey.

Is there any suggestion of routers that can resolve the bottleneck issue of wifi and extend the coverage of wifi? I am looking for router around Rm500.

I have asked at some shop and they strongly suggest me Asus RT-AC68U that will cost me around RM1000+. Is it really necessary to purchase router at that price?

Thanks for your help!

2 in 1 Tablet-PC

Hi all,

I am looking to get a 2 in 1 tablet pc for around RM2000. I am looking at something similar to Microsoft Surface Pro 3 but it is way over my budget. Just want some mobility for my college works.

Asus T100 was my previous consideration but would like to top up a bit more if there are any better choices. I would prefer at least 4gb ram.

If the tablet can play less graphic intensive game like football manager 2015 would be a plus.

Any pros with good recommendation?

P.s. Saw another thread about Acer Switch 12. Is it good?

Thanks in advance for your help.
