I would like to seek some advice for those who study in Taylor's University.
How is the living cost over there and is the accommodation for the hostel there costly for first year students?

Does anyone from lowyat here studies Software Eng or Comp Sc course in Taylor's University?
Can you guys share your opinion on the course and on the lectures/tutor as well?
How well is the environment over there for IT students and any scholarship can i apply to aid my studies?

So my problem is stated above. I would like to know the best solution to overcome this using the university wifi itself. I tried vpn servers already but it seems that the latency is higher than usual (around 200ms)

How can i get to have smooth line while accessing to steam to play game such as dota?
Anybody can help me ?

USM or MMU computer science help!

So today the UPU,USM and UM results are out. I checked it and was super glad that i received the offer to study in USM at pulau pinang campus for Bachelor of computer science course OMG!!. But right now i have already pursue 2 months of studies in MMU cyberjaya for computer science degree.

i'm having a dilemma and seeking for some advice regarding on this problem. Whether should i change to USM which the fees are more affordable and super cheap compare to MMU or should i stay in MMU?

The duration of the course is 3 years in MMU while 4 years at USM.
There will be a huge full loan if i study in MMU compare to USM.

Therefore i would like to seek for some personal advice from you seniors out there if you have this problem.

And i know MMU and USM are well known and famous recognition for their IT courses

Anyone heard about UniMY ?

UTM VS MMU Software Engineer

I wanna ask a question, why does UTM (IPTA) gives the software engineer course or any UPU uni 4 years duration time while MMU (Multimedia University) only offers 3 years duration time?

Can anyone tell me whats the difference of 1 year?

STPM 2014 leaver

As i've checked my STPM 2014 result via the 'leaked' link yesterday 27/2/15 around 7.00pm.

I've checked my overall CGPA is around 3.50. What do you guys think? Is it consider good or quite good already for average student?

Planning to pursue my studies in MMU for Degree in Software Engineering. For ex-students of MMU , can you tell me briefly about this subject and the cost of it and funding aids? I'm not clearly understand how the procedure go because they dont have agent to do this kind of stuff.

I have some question too, what do u guys think of IPTA UTM and UPM? I know its cheap and affordable, but recoginition wise and study environment do u guys think is good for uni students?

Tips on weight gaining

Hello lowyat members.. I want to gain weight so badly because i realise that im quite skinny and very underweight. I am currently on 176cm / 54kg. I have read some posts , some say eat at least minimum of 6 portion per day. Drink full cream milk like 2 glass per day. And also do less cardio/yoga and more to weight training.

Do you think that skinny people like me have to go gym to lift some weights? And why? Because i think that i dont have enough muscle to able to lift heavy weights. Just like 10kg dumbbell is kinda hard for me already. >< So emberassed to say this.. Becus i love futsal and football but this will lead to cardio training and it will burn alot of calories from me. Is that true?

And can you guys show me what is ur dietary plan for the day? Thanks

Hi lowyat members. I just finished STPM 2014 recently and would like to seek some advice from your experience and seniors. After researching some of the topics in lowyat and websites, there are many questions in my mind that remain unsolved. Can you guys help me out?

I think that i did (ok) in my stpm exams and hope that i will get good result when the results come out
Do you guys know when will be the date when STPM results come out? Some says around February and March
And they say to apply IPTA course we have to select smartly about the course we want depend on the factor of our results. Is that true?

I wish to pursue my studies in MMU since i'm interested software engineering course and its one of the best IT in Malaysia. Will the PTPTN loan able to fully support my 3 or 4 years degree course?

Is there any IPTA offers good software engineering or maybe chemical engineering course in Malaysia?

Is buying a ps4 in IPMART safe and reliable?

Hi guys, since the ipmart website offers great deal with the ps4 bundles. The one i wanted to buy its the PS4 BUNDLE which includes the following
