The other day my lorry entering a gated guarded housing area and the top of my lorry hit the roof of the structure that holds the boom gate. My lorry ok but the entire steel structure of the boom senget. The structure was made too low but there&#39;s no signage saying how high the structure and what the maximum height restriction is hence my lorry knock into it. No warning signs saying no lorry also. Mine is just a 1 ton luton lorry. So am I in the wrong or do they have to compensate me for having no maximum height signs and resulted in their boom gate structure damaging my lorry.
