CIMB Mortgage Cancellation

Hi Guys,

Recently I am cancelling a signed loan agreement. After that the banker has sent me a cancellation document with her signature with CIMB letter head.

My new loan banker mentions that this cannot be used to show that the loan agreement has been canceled and I must get from the bank directly instead. When I check with CIMB banker, she mentioned there's no such letter can be issued from the bank.

Now, my CCRIS record has this canceled loan and needs months to be updated where my new loan is kicking in and most lightly will be rejected in that case.

My question is, anyone here work in CIMB mortgage department and have such a request before? How can I proceed here to show to another banker that my loan has been canceled whilst awaiting CCRIS record to be updated?

Hi Guys,

I have got no response back from LHDN, well, as expected.

Hope can get the answer here, anyone with similar experience before? I am working with a US company, and get paid from SG branch. Technically, I am considered working for this SG registered company then. The US company is not a registered company in Malaysia.

Here's the question, how can I get the EA form from them, as they are not a Malaysia registered company? They do not have office here so they do provide some allowance for network, mobile and computer. Those should be in the category of tax relief as this is not for personal use. Therefore I may need EA form to declare the amount.

If I have a similar format of document provided by the company, would that work? Just wonder.

Hi Guys,

This is a difficult task for me. Issue is:

1. Screen sometimes blackout, or image tears. Happened intermittently, this is deadly.
2. Verified not to be monitor issue.
3. GC = ATI HD6870; PSU = Seasonic 550W half modular.

Some of my friends suspect it's PSU faulty. Anyhow it's difficult to verify as this happened intermittently. I need you guys help if anyone has experienced this before. It's kinda annoying especially when I'm gaming.

I didn't translate all other than the game interface. The NPC + Quest data is just too huge and I couldn't make it alone. Hope you understand and enjoy the game.

Crab corn soup

Hi, I am not sure this is the right place to ask for help on how to cook properly, just try my luck.

I love to drink corn soup to be frank, this kind of soup is quite common in Sabah, but I never seen one listed in the menu in WM before, except high class Chinese restaurant.

Normally, to make this soup perfect we have to pour crab meat into it. But I have tested twice and the soup has the bad smell of the crab meat. First time I put in the whole crab, so it was my fault actually to made this happened. Second time, I tear out the crab meat, and wash it thoroughly, the smell is still there but reduced.

I have checked in the website, it says need to cook the crab meat in the boiled water with ginger. But If I did so the taste of the crab meat will remain in the water instead of the soup.

Can anyone here has good experience on how to handle crab meat? I apologise if I post in a wrong place.

Chicken Pox

Recently my close friend cum housemate infected with Chicken Pox. I had have this infection when I was 6 years old. So I do have the vaccine injected as well when I was 6 years old. It's about 20 years back then, am I still vulnerable to the sickness? What I worry is, will Chicken Pox virus mutated or the other way around, my antibody against the virus is no longer active?

Please advise.

Guys,

Recently I lost my company phone's number, just SIM card. So I wish I can settle this by myself.

The SIM card has security code so I think there's not a need to cancel it. I'm using Maxis after all. I plan to grab back the number with nearby any Maxis retail shops.

So my question is, what sort of information I do need to provide them shows that I was the owner of the number? Thanks.

Problem details
Okay last night my connection suddenly put off and I check my modem, the DSL LED does not lit. I have done the following:

1. Check dial tone with phone: Yes it has dial tone.
2. Make outgoing call to my hand phone: Yes it works.
3. Change to Streamyx modem (Riger): The DSL LED is blinking and prolonged for about 2 min I was waited. Then I switch it off already.

Is this possibly happened and anyone please share your experience regarding this matter. Since it has dial tone I couldn't figure out why DSL light does not lit. I haven't call to Streamyx center yet, thinking to get help from here at least it's faster than waiting the response there.
