I just recently received a lawyer letter about a dial up service 15 years ago.
I can't remember details anymore.
I only remember I wanted to stop the service so I just stop paying & the service stop after 1 month or so.
The amount requested is RM183.24

I was about 17 at that time.
Am I a minor at that time and can null any agreement?

Should I pay?

I did some research and found Help UC course price to be attractive.
But also consider Nottingham Uni cert to be better but at least twice the price.

I want to ask if anyone know the proper procedure of registration for marriage between Malaysian guy & China girl.
1) Is it better to register at Malaysia or China 1st?
2) Costs?
3) Duration to complete registration.
4) Future visa & resident? Possible for China girl to work in Malaysia & get PR status? How?

I know there is a built in GPSR inside, but don't know how to utilize it.
I prefer using Garmin, but don't know what OS this phone uses & if Garmin Mobile XT support it.

WTA Mac vs Windows

Hi I want to find out what's pro & con of Mac & Windows.
I know there r a lot of debate out there, but a lot of them r quite old & may not reflect the current market situation.

Time has passed & I don't know if this still holds true.

Mac Pros
1) Mac is better in graphic design due to the color & print out is closely matched.
2) Less or no spyware/malware/virus.
3) Better HW & SW integration. Less crashes & more stable.

Windows Pros
1) Better for engineering due to a lot of SW for engineers r in Windows.
2) Larger SW library.
3) More HW customizable.
4) Support a lot of PC games greatly.

Please comments (preferably in number format for easy reading)

How to bypass China's Great Firewall?(In China)

I am in China. Previously I have learn about Utrasurf 9.5 which can bypass China's Great Firewall for accessing some sites like facebook and others.
I have been using it since then.
But for the last 1 month Utrasurf no longer can connect to server thus no longer works. Probably completely blocked now.
The locals doesn't seems to care as they don't access much oversea sites.

I try to search but failed. As it is very difficult to search as sites with certain keywords will be blocked.
Normal proxy wouldn't work either as the firewall can still detect the keywords & block the site.

Is there any alternative?

Want to remove car rear spoiler.

Car: Wira 1.3 aeroback.

Situation:
Currently the rear spoiler paint half is peeled (spoiler is original made of plastic). The rear break light is not working too.
I am thinking of having the whole spoiler removed & holes sealed.
Then install new break light at rear screen.

Questions:
1)Is there any technical issue for removing the spoiler for daily driving?
2)How should the holes be sealed?
3)Is it practical for rear break light to be top or bottom of screen?

I am getting a new ADSL modem + WiFi router combo for a friend.

Please recommend a reasonable one (reliable & not too expensive).
If possible, I would like to
1) be able to flash with DD-WRT firmware or equivalent (is there other better firmware?)
2) default firmware should not be too bad either (due to I will not flash initially, but may flash it next time)

Usage is multi purpose but will on 24/7.

Please recommend me brand & model & quote current price if available.

I already have linksys wifi router.
I use 24/7 & heavy BT.

I believe most of the work already done by the linksys router, so probably just need modem.
But I don't mind modem router, more importantly reliability.

Multi processors

Hi I am new to multi core processor in Windows.

I know that the affinity can be set at task manager to to utilise >1 processor. But it is still limited to only 50% of total processing power.

What I like to know is it possible for a task to use >50%? How do I set it?
eg. Even compressing a file using RAR will only utilize total processing at 50% max even if the priority is set to max.
I would like to make use of remaining processing power to 80 or 90%.

Is this settable or is this application specific which require program with multi processor support?

Warranty Claim Issue

Today I went to claim warranty and the PIC told me I have to send it myself or pay RM40 for the warranty claim as it as passed 1 year of their shop warranty.
From the receipt I have, there is no such thing stated.
So is this utter bullshit or is this common practice?

From my point of view this is bullshit, as there is no such thing mentioned or stated in the receipt.

WTA Ways to downgrade streamyx

I would like to know what are the ways to downgrade streamyx easily.
Rather than spend time at shop with long que. Also the shops only open on weekdays. (This suks as I am working)

Since streamyx is no good for BT, I want to downgrade it.
Is there any charges on downgrade as I am not bound by contract?
