Upgrading from Astro IPTV 10Mbps to TIME 100Mbps

I currently have an Astro IPTV account connected to a 10 Mbps TIME Broadband account. Recently, I signed up for the 100 Mbps TIME Broadband, and arranged for an installation on the 26th of September. During this process, I called Astro IPTV to verify that the fibre optic cable that I'm using can be used for TIME Broadband, and that the installation may take place. I also verified with TIME Broadband that it would be possible for me to use the fibre optic cable as well. I did not want my internet to be disconnected for a few days, so I checked with both Customer Services so that the upgrade will take place smoothly.

When the TIME Broadband technician came to perform the installation, they informed me that the Astro IPTV account needed to be deactivated in order for them to proceed, so I proceeded to cancel the Astro IPTV account while the TIME Broadband technician was there. I informed Astro IPTV, giving them the number of the technician, that the TIME Broadband technician needed confirmation from Astro IPTV to proceed with the installation. Neither Astro IPTV nor TIME Broadband managed to do anything, upon which I requested for TIME Broadband to install a new line instead. However, they just told me that they had other appointments and left. I tried to call both Astro IPTV and TIME Broadband, but both of them just told me that they would call me back in a few hours, which never happened.

By this time, I was quite annoyed - Why do I need to spend my time and effort so that they can provide me with this service? By definition, shouldn't Customer Service be making my life easier?

Having no other option, I called Astro IPTV to reactivate my account, since I did not want to lose my internet connection. The Customer Service officers at Astro IPTV then told me that they would arrange it such that the cancellation and the activation would take place on the same day, and they would call me back to arrange for an appointment. I was foolish enough to believe that such a wonderful thing would happen. Now, two weeks have passed, I still don't have my new 100 Mbps connection, and Astro IPTV is telling me that they will arrange for a set retrieval, whereas TIME is claiming that they have to wait for Astro's cancellation confirmation before proceeding with scheduling an appointment for installation.

Do I really have no choice but to go without internet at home for a minimum of 10 days, or does anyone have experience dealing with this situation?
