Pajero MK1 owner..need your advice

Any owner of previously owned a Pajero MK1 in here?
im new to 4x4 and seriously thinking of getting one as a second car... so im gonna need all the advice from all sifus...

i wont probably be doing a serious offroad action, but who knows...hehe...

just wondering, maintenance wise (engine overhaul, gbox, differential etc) and spare parts, is it hard to find?
what would be the most expensive thing to repair?

as a plan B, i might conside the MK2 pajero... mainly the 2.5/2.8 turbo diesel version as heard that this gives better FC compared to the petrol version....

any comments and advise is highly appreciated...
