Compaq Presario V3300 vs Lenovo Y400

Hey guys..

Lately this compaq presario v3300 seem very popular and cheap. And there's another laptop model Y400 from Lenovo (it's not thinkpad) similiar to this compaq presario v3300. I heard Lenovo used Acer parts instead of IBM. Izzit true? Guys which 1 you think its better? V3300 selling RM1999 and Y400 selling RM2298. In term of support and parts issue, which 1 brand better?

svchost.exe - VIRUS!

Hi all,

Need you guys assist me in this issue. My laptop got this problem unable to open any application because the svchost.exe is running. I tried to open some applications like Mozilla Firefox, Outlook and even task manager. Its seem unable to open the application and the cpu occupied by something else. I need to keep restarting my pc untill i able to open task manager. From task manager, i found out svchost.exe occupied 97-98 percent of the CPU that's why other applications unable to launch. Its there any removal tools or steps i can remove this problem from my laptop? My friend told me is a backdoor trojan. Please help me. Thanks

Where to service car?

I would like to know where can i service my car? I don't want send it back to proton because they did a very bad job. Basically, i want to service my whole car means not only tambah engine oil and change oil filter only. How about Eneos? The environment is good but i not really sure about the quality. Oh yar. Which full synthetic engine oil is good? Eneos engine oil or Mobil?

I stay at Bukit Jalil. I want to get a black color rear spoiler for my savvy. May I know which car accessories or sparepart shop can get it? I heard PJ got alot good 1. And i like to know how much the rear spoiler cost me? Can you guys gimme address, direction or website? Thanx.

Hi all,

I managed to find a used car dealer who selling a black Proton Savvy. The car price is RM28K. You can get RM27K if you take the blue color savvy. Heard that black savvy pretty high in demand. I'm not sure the salesman got con me or not. I'm really noob for all these things. On the road for the black savvy is 31K. I'm sure you guys wondering why extra 3K. Let me explain to you:

Car insurance - RM1200
Bank Loan Admin stuff - RM650
Change Ownership - RM450
PUSPAKOM - RM250
Road Tax - RM152

I forgot what are the other charges. I don't mind pay them RM300 for service charge. So actually when you buy a second car, do you guys need to pay all these things? Untill 3K that much? Anyway,i already paid them RM500 deposit. I lazy want to go look around since i'm working and no transportation to travel around. Furthermore, its very hard to find Black savvy and its pretty high demand. I think RM28K is pretty good deal but im just not sure about the extra 3K for all these fees. Any idea guys?

I'm looking for a 2nd hand proton savvy. I look through some website like motortraders.com.my, thestar.com.my, autoworld.com.my, ontheroad.com.my and cahaya.com.my. I can't find anybody selling proton savvy. I found 1 but sold:(. I understand its really hard to find 1 because savvy still consider a new car. People, pls help me find 1. Can get me some website or used car dealer shop which got sell savvy so that i can pay a visit. Thanx

New or Used Car?

hey guys, I can't make up my mind and don't know what to do. I having tough time choosing to buy a new or used car. I planning to get either new Kia Picanto/Suria or Proton Savvy. Both car price its about the same. If i buy new car, i might go for 0 down payment and 9 years installment. Picanto/Suria having promotion RM338 monthly installment and Savvy RM388-RM400 monthly installment. Both i think 9 years plan and 0 down payment. Proton even offer me 1st 3 months i don't need to pay anything. I understand that if i take up this type of plan, the interest rate very high and total cost of the car is far more expensive. 2nd choice I buy a second hand Proton Savvy which cost RM26k-27k. Its a 1 and a half year car. I heard Myvi also having promotion RM368 monthly installment but i guess its a 1.0 Myvi not 1.3. So what do you guy think? Its my 1st car i want to buy and i have been working for almost a year. Some say just buy a 2nd hand car since i just started to work and some say don't go for 2nd car worry giving alot of problem. I willing to spend RM400-RM450 for monthly installment. What do you guy think? Can help me to decide?
