Lenovo G405S battery life

I bought Lenovo G405s last month.

The specs are:
1. AMD A8
2. 1TB
3. 8GB

My issue is on the battery life.
I tested the battery with the ff scenarios:
1. Online, usual surfing, opened up to 3 Firefox tabs. Battery lasts for nearly 2 hours.
2. Offline, opened MS Word, type anything. Battery lasts for nearly 2.5 hrs.
3. Offline, just opened the laptop without doing anything. Battery lasts for nearly 2.5 hrs.

I had already done the ff:
1. Asked the vendor to configure the power management tool.
2. Run the laptop in PowerSaver mode.
3. Consulted the service center, in which they advised to used balance. I told them that I already used Power Saver. In which they insist for me to observe, which in turn does nothing to the battery life/
4. Adjust the display brightness.
5. Turn off the auto run of some apps during startup.

What to do with this?
Is this battery life normal for a new laptop running basic apps?
Is mobility not that prioritized in new laptops?
